Mhm. Good morning. Good morning, my friends. Welcome back to episode number 114. It is Monday. Yes, sir. We're back. Hope you guys had a good weekend. Hope you guys are ready to rock and roll here. Gold is uh Yeah, it's looking interesting today. Once again, looking forward to this a session. Absolutely. Absolutely. Let's see what we have with us in the chat. Welcome back, my friends. Welcome back. Welcome back. We're going to have a good week again.
We're going to have five weeks. Five weeks. Five days of streaming and we're going to make we're going to make it happen. Yeah. Okay. Welcome back. Uh music is coming. Yes. And loves is coming. Absolutely. We are reacting from the early previous weekly value area low and we're above the point of control of yesterday uh sorry the previous day. So we need one confirmation one confirmation only and you guys know exactly what we're going to do.
Yes, let me know in the chat if you are fully aware. Anyways uh good to see you Catalin my friend. How are you? Good morning or good evening. Sorry good night for you already. Uh Lon good morning my friend. How are you, Matias? Paul, OMG, Del Cipher, good to see you. Uh, Kelvin, the book never arrived. That's weird. New email. Try a different email address. Okay. Unlucky. Yes. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning.
Good to see you, too. Good to see you, too. All right. Who else do we have here? Uh, Zaza, my friend, welcome. Um, Adam, welcome. We're going to make Nat a mod, a moderator. Where is he? I saw him earlier. Nate, sorry, not Nat. Nate, let's make him a moderator. Let me do that real quick before we get started. As a moderator, okay, done. Nice. Yeah, we need some extra moderators, man. The chat's going crazy lately. You know what I mean?
Uh, who else? Who else? Some deep. Okay, anyways, welcome back my friends. We're going to make it a good stream. Uh, yeah, gold is already reacting from an early Pic very low level. We are pretty undervalued. We are or we have been trending up relatively well. Um, this is actually very important moment for us, okay, to talk about right now. Uh, so let's start the stream with some music as always. I need to wake up and then we do our full breakdown analysis of the week and yeah, we're going to roll in some some things that we need to know in order to get where we want to be today hopefully.
Okay, fantastic, my friends. >> Do it like that. >> Welcome back. >> Then do it like this. Do it like that. Then do it like it like that. Then do it like this. Do it like like that. Then do it like like this. Do it like that. Then do it like this. Do it like like this. Do it like that. Do it like that. Then do it like this. Heat. Heat. Like that. Like this. Like like that. Then like like that. Like like this. Like like that.
Then like like like this. Do it like that. like that. Do it like that. >> Smash that like button. Yes. Okay. Thank you very much. >> All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. Welcome back. Good to see you all my friends. Hope you guys had a good weekend. The week has started. The markets have been moving. We're back on track.
Okay. Hope you guys are doing well. We are um going to make sure right now that uh we are fully ready because this is actually super important level. We have to get straight to the juice immediately. There is actually no time to waste due to the fact that what we can see here right now at the moment is that uh we are reacting from a very important level. A very important level and I will show you why this is such an important level.
It was the 4361 that is crucial. Why? We'll talk about it in a second. But first uh before we kick it off, all right, uh I want to make sure that you guys are fully ready to rock and roll here. Uh and I want to put some disclaimers out. I think it's actually super important to do that to put some disclaimers out right now at the moment here. Main reason why is because Yes. Um and this is purely for your own protection.
Okay. This is for your own protection. Yeah. Last week. Okay. Last week we didn't lose a single trade. Okay. Great. Beautiful. Right. Sky is the limit. Right. Love it. The problem what happens usually when when guys see that on the stream here, they come for the first time. and they think, "Oh, I've been winning, winning, winning, winning." He only wins every day. So, what I'm going to do today, I'm going to get my whole family together and I'm going to put my whole freaking savings.
I sell my car, I sell my house, I sell my watch, I sell my um my wife's Louis Vuitton to back and I'm going to go all in on this next trade. Well, guess what? Uh we're not going to do uh we're not going to play the casino royale here on this channel, okay? That's not how it works. Uh, we lose, we win, we lose, we win. We make money every month. Yes. It's about the process, man. It's about that consistency, okay? It's not about that casino.
Yeah. Go all in on this next big trade cuz cuz then you're going to lose your money and then you're going to cry and then because you can't take any responsibility, you're going to blame it on me. You know what I mean? So, that's not how it works. Okay? Just want to clarify that here. We do our best every day. Uh, results are not guaranteed here. We're just doing our absolute best to provide you hopefully with the best analysis.
But we're humans. Yeah. This is how the actual game works. We have a thing in this market. It's called variance. Okay. Variance, probability, and win rate. Okay. Hope that makes sense. Anyways, without further ado here, why do we react for the 3 4361? Super important level. I'm not going to waste too much time on it. Uh the dollar number one is getting rejected pretty well right now. I like how the dollar was getting rejected already from the 12-hour supply.
We came down, we pulled back, we got rejected close to 4hour, created a new supply. Oil is dropping pretty hard. Okay, look at oil. Oil is getting weaker. We had an opening gap here on a Friday. Never got filled. We're dropping already. And gold right now is pushing higher. Okay, however, we are in some resistance at the top, but also the trend itself is starting to formulate quite quite well right now. Okay. What actually happened?
Why are we pushing up here? This is extremely important. Let's mark out the LT accounts obsession breaks here. Let's use the volume profile. You guys know that's what we utilize on this channel, the volume profile, right? You can learn about it in my book volume analysis where you can explain how to set it up, the right settings, you know, all those layers right there. You can learn about that. But we are back not in the previous week, okay?
Because if you mark out the previous week here, we are pretty much already trading above the previous week. You see that? This is the previous weekly value area high and we're trading already above it. So, we already out of the value area of the previous week. But what we did last week, we actually came inside of the previous weekly range or the weekly range of the week before that. Okay? And we reclaimed the value area of that if that makes sense to you right there.
So you can see that this also has the very area high and the very area low of that. And let's mark that out for a second. And let's call this the previous week. Okay. And we call it early previous week because it's actually a week before that. All right. Early previous week. Yes sir. And if you then mark out the value area low. Okay. Of that. And we call that the value area low right here at 61 I guess. Uh, where is it?
Where is it? Where is it? There we go. Um, early P very low. Yes, right there. Boom. We remove this for a second and we go back to where we are now. Then that's exactly where we reacted from. Okay. So we got accepted inside of the weekly range of two weeks ago and we are now bouncing back from um the value low pretty much right. So we we broke back into it. We initially got rejected at it multiple times by the way uh around here around here around here and this is the first time now that the open that we tap into it and react from it.
Okay so that is a level that we have to acknowledge and mark out already by default. Okay, that is just from historical standpoint something that I just want to watch at this uh at this moment in time. Then we have the previous day. Okay, because we are still operating I think inside the previous daily range if I'm not mistaken. So let's do that as well here with the open and close of yesterday. And when I say yesterday, I mean of course the previous trading day.
So, open 6 PM 6 PM and we have the point of control sitting right there. Okay, what is this called? Let me know in the chat right there. Okay, we call that the sorry, previous daily point of control, right? We are also above the previous daily point of control um of Friday. So, the point of control Friday. Okay, so this is very important the fact that we are above those levels uh right now for me. Um why am I very careful with shorting at the moment.
Okay, the reason why I'm very cautious with shorting is because the following reason um well most importantly if we mark out the whole week okay of yesterday look at all those gaps. Do you see all those gaps here? This is what I call a low volume note. I think the chat knows that already. Low volume note right there. Low volume note right there. Low volume note right there. You know what I mean? We're going to tap into all those low volume notes.
And you don't really always have that, by the way. It's not that every week when you push up like that that you have this huge low volume notes sitting there, but you have one to the other to the other. So every time we try to short it, we could react from any one of those levels again. and we'll just reverse. So very careful with shorting at the moment. Okay, I'm really cautious with it especially when you see that the dollar is in resistance on the higher time frame uh like this as well like oil is not really doing fantastic either.
Um so com the combination of that in my opinion is there is a lot of support for gold right now created this move up is not just a fake move up. it is you know supported by a lot of absorption we call that a lot of absorption in the market a lot of passive market participation so for me that's very important to to just be aware of that that's actually uh happening right now at the moment okay and I want you to actually just be a little bit cautious with the with that as well if you understand why just be careful with shorty because uh you're going to find a lot of those levels you know that are going to be potentially respected here and Yeah, you don't want to get caught up in a low volume note and go short right into that level.
That would be nasty if that gets or if that happens right around there. Okay, so what needs to happen then if you don't want to go short for potential longs, right? Well, let's first look at the order flow. Where's the order flow? There we go. All right. Uh number one, the 4hour. Okay. Uh where has the most volume been traded? Yeah, Friday predominantly right there at the bottom. Okay, so this is that support that we were talking about.
That's the point of control pretty much of uh yeah, of Friday. Okay, a little bit lower actually. But you can see that we already reacted from it, right? In a way where we are kind of getting absorbed already. The 1 hour, okay, is showing that a lot of sellers are trying to enter the market at this moment in time and they're kind of failing to do so. Look at all that selling at the bottom. You see a big red bubble which I'm going to show you right now.
Okay, let me actually make this bigger for you. Hey, big bubbles. Look at that at the bottom. You see that red bubble and that green bubble? Red bubble means aggressive selling at the bottom. But the candle closed bullish. Okay, the green bubble means that buyers also stepped in at the same time. So that means that there is definitely um you know some absorption happening at the bottom right at that area right here. I think that if we can close in the next 12 minutes above this high, that means we have a 9 a.m. volume coming in, right, the China volume, and we can close above this.
I think it's pretty safe to say that if we can, you know, close a little bit higher one more time, okay, that we can uh potentially close above the point of control, which is the 73, sorry, the 73 of today. that I will try to long probably go here and target the previous daily highs and probably put my stop loss depending on where we where we actually close uh below that candle wick. I think we have to put it below. I think we have to I don't think we have a choice.
I think we have to put it below the sellers. Yeah, I think so. Yeah, I kind of think so because um that's where the sellers are located, right? Most of the trapped sellers are sitting at the bottom here in this area right there. Uh but we need to break about point control today to make it worthwhile or you're going to be very aggressive and you're going to try to long it earlier. But that's very tricky because um you usually do really want to break above the uh above those highs in order for us to have that ultimate confirmation that buyers are actually in control um according to the developing point of control as well as a breakout of this area pretty much.
I pretty much it's pretty straightforward actually. You just want to close above that uh and then target the highs and then have the thread sellers at the bottom in alignment with everything else that we're looking for. So yeah, I think the stop loss will be a little bit bigger today, but the risk reward could make up for it because of the target uh in my opinion as well. But yeah, okay, cool. We'll take it if that's needed.
Uh but we have to do we have to close above the 73 for Lux anyways and not below that because the port control is still there and you can see that right now we're getting rejected at this as well. So I want to see if we can close above that. That would be that would be amazing. And I will not do anything before the actual 900 p.m. uh open. Okay. when the actual potential quoteunquote volume comes into the market. That is potentially what I would look for regardless waiting for that volume to come in.
Uh you guys know already that usually around 9 some volume tends to come into the market and um yeah that can can definitely boost us a little bit and that can happen straight at 9. No waste no wasted time. It could happen right at 9 that could be the case right here. Okay. So, yeah, that would be nice if you could do that right here. Keep following up with the point of control of today, close above the VWAP and control and then target the highs and then have that reaction from the very very low control of yesterday.
That would be that would be gorgeous. Okay. Uh I'm just going to be very careful with shorting right now at the moment. All right. That's what I'm trying to tell you guys. We have the product control below of the previous day and then even that right even if you would mark out the previous week right here some people can use the anchored you can actually see that we have so many gaps sitting below here these gaps are very tricky very tricky uh if you don't know what these gaps mean or are these are kind of what we call low volume notes and low volume notes are actually very important levels or zones And you could see that every time we tapped into one of those later on how we have been reacting from it.
So how much support was actually formed there. You see that? You can actually also see this right there. So that that's why I'm very careful with shorting. Uh very careful with shorting gold because we have one after the other after the other right here. Um, so we have all those all those notes sitting right below that. Um, yeah. Just have to be very careful with shorting right now at the moment. Okay, there we go. Okay, well that makes sense, my friends.
Let's see if we can break above above the point control today. That would be amazing, man. I would love to see that breakout and then uh yeah, longs hopefully. Let's see. and then target the highs of the day of the previous daily or at least the Yeah, I mean the previous daily highs pretty much and do something like this I guess. So let's see if that's possible. Waiting for volume hourly close I guess. Okay, let's see what the chat is saying here.
Hope you had a good weekend. I hope you guys had a good weekend here. Let's be patient now and wait for that hourly open. Regardless, every time I'm less than 10 15 minutes of the hourly candle, I usually tend to wait regardless for the hourly because usually what happens is even if you are right right about the direction, the hourly candle can still make its move, right? You can still come down uh push up and then reverse.
So if we are correct and we are correct about the about the direction of the hourly candle, the idea is that you get into the bottom wick, right? Or the top wick of the hourly candle instead, right? And the last thing that you want to do is to get involved here and then the hourly candle opens up and it goes up first and then it flips bearish and then you're still winning but then your ris is off what it should have been for example.
So I think the hourly is always super important. And the hourly development of the candle is something that we always want to take consideration especially when that pairs with like high volume or more volume and things like that right here. Right. Okay. Orion we're same long sir. Okay. Good. Uh defense I just need a trader friend. Someone trading advice price action like me. Make sure your tongue can follow. I do my best not speaking too quickly, but yeah.
All right. So, how to find out which low volume note is better? Well, there are a couple ways to find out. You have number one, an evaluation tool that we utilize, right? You want to be undervalued preferably. That is one way. Uh the other way is by understanding and um looking at how price reacts at it. So you wait for a confirmation of a candle or if you have order flow, you look at sellers entering the market and failing, right?
You see a candle like this for example, a lot of red at the bottom and a green closure. But you can't see that on the candles. But uh it could be a candle with a bottom wick, a stronger wick. That would be nice, right? And a green candle closure and then a retest into the wick and a flip for example, right? So you actually take that orderflow uh data and you don't have order flow, so you use that you use the proxy of it.
And what I recommend you to do then if you don't have orderflow but you want to enter from one of those zones is to use what we call entry models. Okay, these are kind of proxies of the order flow. So you can actually go to the uh book you have. You go to page number 57 right here. And you go to entry model one, the double wick confirmation. Entry model two, the internal swing confirmation. Entry model three, structural shift confirmation.
So you have these four entry models. Okay. Now use that then as your u your guideline instead. Cool. These are proxies by the way off the order floor actually. Why are we buying while interest rates uh increased? Good question, man. Very good question. Um on this channel, we look at the volume, the volume distribution of the market. Okay. So, how has the volume actually been executed? Where are we getting accepted in?
In what value area are we getting accepted in? The value area shows us what what the current fair value of gold actually is according to the volume that has been traded. So instead of being too speculative on the interest rates because you have to understand this if you are a day trader or a sculper right and you start talking about the interest rate shouldn't we only go and look for shorts here you're going to miss out on a lot of opportunities because if you take a micro fundamental uh a micro fundamental bias signal with you and you start implementing this on the five minute okay And you know, you have to understand that you're not that the variance of that doesn't make that much sense at all times.
Okay. If you do want to talk about the fundamentals of this already, okay, it's not just about the interest rates being um decreased or increased right now. It's also about what has happened in the anticipation of the interest rates or the announcement that they would increase. Now, gold dropped in essence since that announcement. That was roughly in August at the end of August. You could say almost 10% if not more than 10%.
Okay. Already. So the question is right, how much of that was already pro quote unquote um you know priced in already. So you take these two confirmations you say okay I'm a day trader. I'm a sculper and gold has been dropping for a longer period of time already. like from both sides. I mean there are moments where you go up, there are moments where you do go down. Okay? And this is something that we just have to acknowledge.
If we would be holding on to trades for a longer period of time, it might be a little bit of a different story. Okay. I personally believe that a lot of things are priced in uh right now. Uh you can see that the dollar is struggling relatively speaking right if you look here we shoot up yes but we are now major resistance we are getting rejected from major resistance at the moment this is where we are right look at the dollar right now at the moment dollar is there getting rejected at resistance right now at the moment uh so we have to take this very serious oil is doesn't is not looking particularly um I would say strong Okay.
And gold is getting respected from the value area low of the week before that. Right. So that is actually a sign of strength the fact that we hold in that in the value area of that week and getting respected at it right now. Holding support at that level. But the only long confirmation like I said before is when we actually close above the port of control today. Okay. That would be considered my long confirmation. We have the hourly open.
There we go, man. Always always the previous daily high. Yeah, the previous daily high here, right? Uh, what is the number one rule? Yeah, we need a closure, my friends. And I I hate it sometimes so much because I'm always afraid the price will live without me, right? But the reality is I've tested both and I know that it's better to wait for closures in the long run for sure. I know that for sure that this just better for myself to wait for a closure instead of wait for that um expect it aggressively to um to break it.
So I hope it will not leave today. But yeah, it's pretty clear. I mean, I have to say the bias is pretty clear. Wow, we have literally all the moderators today in the chat. Usually there are always like one or two not a not available, >> but I guess they're all here today. >> Uh, is Kitty allowed to the chat to talk to be talked? I I actually do not really care about Kitty. Honestly, I don't really care. Who cares? Who cares what Kitty says?
What are we waiting for? Yeah, closure above, man. Closure above. I'm actually happy that it's, you know, not not breaking breaking. Yeah, this is what this is what I mean. If I would have now entered aggressively long, then we would have been in a draw down, right? And that's why I I know we have to wait for closure, but sometimes with that volume at nine, you know, it can just go, right? That's the truth as well. It's a bit um random at times.
Where where is this huge candle coming from? This huge candle is coming from um the open. That's what we talked about the usually at 9, we're seeing a big impulse of volume coming into the market. So that's that is why that is why that is why what do you need to see? We need to close above the highs. Okay, we're waiting for a closure above the highs and we don't see a closure above it. That's why we don't enter the trade.
We literally said it now 100 times. Sometimes, you know, people can't resist and they want to enter on the breakout. You know, I know statistically speaking, it's not worth it. Even though sometimes it does indeed or it will indeed leave without us. And that's something I can't really control. It's something I can't really control. But, um, yeah. Waiting for that closure above uh the 74 I Isabella's on fire today. Looks pretty freaking strong.
But it's struggling here. Every time we tap into this, we see some resistance coming in. So close your abd will be very good, very strong. Is this textbook for us? I mean, if you guys have watched the streams last week, you know that this setup is textbook for us. Type in a yes if you agree with me, okay? Because we have been literally looking at this this type of trade every freaking day last week, almost every day except for our Thursday.
But it's the same [ __ ] It's the same setup. Ah, come on. Come on. Please, >> two minutes. >> What do you do if it does break out? I have to set the limit order. I will set the limit order at 77. If that's the case, if we close above the 74, I'll end mark. It's going to happen sometimes that it's just going to go. But it's it's it's the rules. It's the rules. Is it the range manipulation setup? It's not the range manipulation setup, even though it was the exact setup that we took last week, but the confirmation is relatively similar, right?
Like you you react from a crucial level, right? We are in a quote unquote uh align, we're aligned with the trend itself. uh we have a crucial level and then we break above the VWAP and the point of control of today and we target the highs the liquidity quote unquote at the highs right there. It's pretty textbook. It's a pretty textbook setup. >> You have trapped sellers at the bottom. You want that >> aggression as well, right?
I love aggression at the bottom. You want that too. Target is 4,400. Come on. Why not go in but half size? It's same [ __ ] bro. Statistically for me, I know the FOMO kicks in at this moment, but I can't do it. Can't do it. Have to follow my rules. Can't do it. What do you do if you close above it? Uh yeah, we close it so far above it. Uh right now, for example, there we go. Uh now I have to put my limit order at 77.
Yes, sir. Uh, and now it's uh hoping that I get filled. Honestly, honestly, it's hoping that I get filled here. Why 77? Because we closed about the very half today. That is pretty much the value I have today. Yeah. Okay, we're in. Good. That That feels better. That feels better. >> Okay. So, it is a bit higher. Bristolward is not again optimal here. Not as optimal as I want it to be. But yeah, it is what it is, man. Um, we have to deal with it right now.
Once we start trending, actually trending, market will shift here. We'll get higher risers towards setups. The problem, the thing right now is that like we're dealing with all that range uh fluff still right here. All that range fluff right there. Yeah. Did we followed our rules? Yes, we did followed all the rules. We waited for the closure about the port of patrol. The VWAP we reacted from a key level. Dollar looks relatively weak.
Oh, looks relatively weak. We're in resistance. Uh we were seeing a lot of aggression at the bottom. That absorption is coming to fruition. A lot of sellers at the bottom. The buying volume is coming in. Last and final confirmation I would would say is the 15 minute in one minute. Okay, that is that is kind of optional though if you have a good confirmation. So that is something I would say okay is an extra additional layer.
But that is pretty much the setup again that's similar to the range manipulation setup. It has all the characteristics of it. Yep. All the characteristics all the characteristics of the manipulation setup. Okay. all the characteristics of that same setup, that same trade right there. And you can actually kind of see it mark out the previous day or the current week. In this case, we did the week before, but slightly different a breakout of the value area higher low.
So, it's not a breakout, it's a reaction from the very area low. So, it's actually not a range manipulation. It's the range bottom. I would better I would better say uh that aggression feels a lack of volume and no follow through. That's correct because we saw a lot of a lot of pushing, a lot of selling here, but that had no follow through. And now we're seeing the buyer stepping in. That's good. So now we want to close in 30 seconds.
Nice and steadily above that. >> It's in 25 seconds or something like that. >> 20 seconds. 13 12 11 10 5 4 3 2 1 Closure buff. Perfect. Okay. Yeah. Okay. Cool. Not the biggest risk award today. I have to admit it's fine. What is the next step? Close above the previous deliver high. That's the next goal. Where's the Sunday open? Oh, we're above that. We're above Sunday open here. It's actually important to me to just mark out later.
Don't you think this stop-loss look for the whole day trade? I first your English, you know, you need to write down your English better, bro. If you can't even write English properly in the chat, then I don't know. I can't answer your question. You have AI, right? You can literally ask u chat GBT to just make your English look at least like English while making some tea. So, let me know. Uh why is it so important to wait for the point of control?
Uh personally I really like that um the the the how do you say it the distribution the shift of the distribution of volume of the day of the open and I think the VWAP has shown us shown us right now I think over the last week if you go through all the trades of the last week on stream pretty much all of them you see one thing in common and that is that every time except for one trade where we took a counter trend trade we had that same distribution kind of shift of the point of control of today in alignment with something else.
Right? So that's kind of what we have been utilizing a lot. It's been helping a lot. We're trying to really stay to it and follow the setups very strictly and not deviate away from it too much. There are variations obviously of a setup, right? There are variations of a setup. Um, but the core should be the same. The core process should be the same. The rules, the the the yeah, the different conditions that apply to it, etc.
They should all be in my opinion the same as well. So, as long as we just keep doing that every time, I think we're in a good position overall. Friday we obviously didn't take any trades, right? So Friday we didn't had any uh any trade at all. So hopefully we can um it was not worth it on a Friday from my perspective. Later on it was actually in like London I think late London. I was like nah man. It was a bit too tricky on a Friday.
We didn't had really any good conf I didn't see any good confirmation on a Friday that that made sense to me personally. Yeah, just we were in like in between two ranges. It's really tough. So hopefully today will be uh we're seeing a bit more follow through. We do see some sellers coming in again, but now we have that 50-minute closure above it. So, to me, that's actually pretty pretty good. Actually, to be honest, I'm not really like personally really worried about u huge reversals.
At least not yet. Halloween as today for Japan is a bank holiday. The volume is um not much lower for the Asian session. Uh let's see. I mean it's pretty good. 1.1,000 1.5,000 2.1,000. It's pretty pretty average. It's pretty average. It's pretty similar. It's pretty standard volume. Uh why do you use limit orders and not market orders? Uh it depends where we close. So if we close higher than our level, we usually put a limit order.
Um that makes a difference, you know. It makes really a difference. It really does. Buying market or buying limit makes really a difference. If you don't get filled at a right level, then I prefer to just set a limit order. And if I don't get filled, it is what it is. But it really makes a difference if you do get uh filled. If you close right above it at the perfect level, then I just go in market, of course. Give a second.
Yeah, I mean, as long as we're holding above this, I'm pretty pretty good. We also have the VWAP now. We have all the sellers at the bottom. I'm pretty I think we just have to be very patient here. And that's it. If you guys want to support the channel, uh what you could do is you can smash on that like button. It would really help uh the channel grow. I will ask maybe for it once once or twice a stream now at the beginning in the middle and at the end.
That's it. I realized I have to do that before. I never really did this anymore. I was like, you know what? Who cares? But then what? I understand how this how this thing apparently works. So, how do you mark out the VO profile? Go to the settings and then right here you have something called forecasting and you go to volume based and you click on fixed range volume profile. You click on that beauty and then you start marking this stuff out according to the book that you have in the description for free.
You can learn about it. Why do you want to trade the Asian session? Now, for exactly this reason. There are sometimes really good specific setups that happen around Asia. And New York I man it's so I feel that New York is so like still at this moment in time right now it's still so uncertain like I'm I'm not saying it's like bad there are really good setups in New York don't get me wrong but it's like New York can just do sometimes nothing for like 3 hours and it's it just there's no volume and then out of nowhere it shoots up and like it does something like out of nowhere.
That is not the New York session that I know that I've traded for years. That's I can guarantee you that. I can guarantee you that I know a different session, a different New York session. really don't want to go, huh? Yeah, we need to break above this above the third high, I guess. Every time it tries and every time it kind of like gets rejected There also the daily l actually perfectly in that level. Yeah. So if we close above the ver half of of today, I think we have for sure uh the banger.
But we have to do that. We have to close above. Dollar is not uh doing much. Dollar is dropping pretty much. What is oil doing? Yeah, oil is also ripping to the downside. So Oh, again. How many times have you seen this now already? Like honestly, there is nothing better, and it's not happening every day, but last week it almost happened every day. There's nothing better than waking up, making $2,000 in two, three hours, and then done.
Done for the day. It's really teasing us right here. It's really testing us here. What are we trying to do? We're trying to test the VWAP, I guess. So, we're going to probably test the Vap now and the part of Control of course. Yeah, I think we're testing the V. Not yet, actually. Slightly lower still. >> Well, we're reactive on that zone. That's why you stay so calm. Uh well personally I know the the the the the yeah the analytics pretty much of these setups.
So it will not really make a difference over time. It's very specific setup. I mean we've take we've traded this setup three times last week. Three out of the five sessions we've done. >> So it's just about letting it play out, I guess. How much are you up for the month? Uh $15,935. And we still have 10 days to go. It could have been higher, honestly. But I'm happy with it for the month of September. I'm I'm I'm okay with it.
Even if you stay flat like this, I'm not going to set targets. I never set targets. Never set any targets at all cuz I don't think targets make sense. You need to trade setups. You can't chase targets. Targets do not work. Uh on the stream account, we are almost up in profit right now around 20 bands. Yes, we're close to 20 bands in profit on the stream account. So, I'm happy with that. Very happy with that. Very steady.
Very stable. Alltime highs. It's true. Okay, that's a reclosure, I think. Right. Yeah. Another five minute at least. Yeah, there is one thing that we have learned with our trades as Well, um, that patience is important. I think we've been been seeing this over and over again. That patience is going to be important no matter the outcome. >> And we have also learned that uncertainty can suddenly look extremely certain and certainty can look very uncertain.
So, you just have to let it go. >> I just hope that we break out of this high. That's what I hope that we can break the 80s, the 81s. So, I hope we can do that. Yeah, that'll be that would be great. More buyers. More buyers. Why the 80s? Uh yeah, the previous day very highs like that level 81. Sorry, 81. That is kind of the last level. If you can close above that then I think these the highs you never know but the highs then seem inevitable.
The point is the risk reward will be significantly lower if you would look for a breakout above that high and that's why we use the daily point of control and the VWAP. How do you stay calm? Well done. Um, knowing your data, I think, is the only only logical way here. Right. >> I think that that staying calm and draw down I think draw down comes from is nothing more or becoming emotional and draw down I think is nothing more than either risking too much that could be a reason or simply not knowing uh what is happening.
So you're not certain about what you're doing in the first place and because of that you can't calculate your risk well because you don't see where or what could happen in what case scenario etc. you know, so it's not only about um you're not going to win every trade, of course. >> So, you need to know exactly, okay, what on average is this setup doing? What is the accuracy of this setup? >> And therefore, you need to build some sort of process because if you don't really have a process, then yeah, you know, you can't really measure something, right?
You need to measure it, find a way to measure it, to quantify, to label it as such. And this is what we're trying to do right now. That's why we're very similar with our process. Right? Again, it's the same concept today as the last week. We waited for a level, we broke above the VWAP, end up control, we decide to go targeting the opposing opposing areas or highs. waited for the closure, then put a limit order, right?
The we had to see sellers at the bottom. Well, we we see all of that. So, that's a process. Now, if you do that then 100 times, then you know, oh, okay, it wins this amount, it loses this amount, these are the results. So, whatever that happens on a singular trade is kind of irrelevant, isn't it? But if every trade you take is different, your entry is different, your execution is different, your management is different and there is no congruence within it and then it becomes very uncertain because what you're in essence are doing then is you're playing with the variance against you.
It's kind of playing the casino and a casino always wins because they have put the variance against you. They know over time that in the casinos casinos know over time that they win 53% of hands in blackjack for example right you don't want to be the 47% then okay now in trading you can become the casino you can become the bank sorry not the casino you can become the bank you can have that edge but in order to have that edge you need to quantify certain the setups you Otherwise, you don't have an edge.
You have the variance stacked against you. So, what we're trying to do is to not have the variance stacked against us, but with us. That doesn't mean you're not going to lose win every trade. It doesn't mean that you're not going to uh have weeks where you struggle a little bit, you know, >> but I think over time you learn to deal with all of that. also mentally and um yeah keep moving forward. Anyway, so how much do you think all goes considering other market moves here like ENQ is up, oil is down, 10ear yield and dollar are pretty much flat fix down though.
Um how much do you think also are considering our other market moves there? In regards to gold, you mean in regards to gold? Yeah, the VIX and the dollar are pretty much flat right now. Are they flat? Yeah, pretty much flat. Oil little pullback. Uh, NQ is what you said down or up? NQ is up. Yeah, makes sense. Yeah, we do look at at other assets. Of course, we do do want to say where where is the dollar at? What is the dollar doing on average?
What is oil doing on average? Right. This is why we have created what we call a valuation index that can measure uh tops and bottoms that can look at the dollar in retrospect. In this case, the dollar. Sometimes oil when there is a lot of news around oil, we look at oil. When gold heavily reacts to oil and we look at oil and then we say, okay, instead of the dollar, we change it to oil. And then I'm going to measure the tops and bottoms.
Okay, I'm going to see what happens when we are undervalued. Well, usually we're undervalued against oil. we tend to well what do what bottom out for example right but it seems that the dollar lately has been a bit more accurate so we use the dollar okay right there bomb right there right divergence >> so we have all these tools that we use sometimes to measure and value something okay you can do it on the lower time you can do it on the higher time frame So yeah, we do take that in account also for gold of course.
I think it's important to do so. It's also part of the uh the system as well. >> That's why we do have to take this in account. What is your uh streaming time? It is 900 PM EST, my friend. Welcome. 9:00 p.m. EST. 9:00 p.m. EST. For the people that are new here, I've been streaming for a long time already. In the last um I took a long time off. I took like six, no, like a year off almost to write a book. Then I came back and then I started the orderflow series, the volume profile orderflow series. 114 episodes so far and um yeah, we have been pretty consistent with our results.
We're now doing a challenge where we try to grow a smaller account into a bigger account. I have two accounts, uh one stream account. We have around 20k profit on that account right now at the moment, which is a good start. Our goal is to reach the 100. Okay, the 100K. That's our goal. And we're heading there. We're heading in the right direction. We're just very conservative on the stream account because we have a lot of rules.
I can't, for example, hold on to the trade. That is one rule. I have to execute it. So, execute it on stream and close it on stream. Right? That's very important. So, I cannot trade other sessions, nothing. It's just that. Then I have another account on the side. Gives me a little bit more freedom. The way to get there and to reach that goal of what we talked about live publicly 100k with the streaming account. And also, you know, personally, we already done this beforehand is by following setups that have a process.
That's the only way we can gain that ads what we talked about, right? That's the only way we can beat variance. You're not going to beat variance by winning always every trade. But you're going to beat variance over time by having a process and following specific setups that that you know work over time. Now, that's why I only trade gold right now at the moment and I don't want to deviate away from it because the more instruments, the higher the variance, okay?
The more different types of setups, random entries, the higher the variance, the lower the success rate. So, we keep it very precise and that means that we have to be as strict and disciplined as possible to follow those rules correctly and to make sure that we only trade those specific setups. are variations of those setups, but the core concepts of the execution is the same every time. Okay? And if you just keep doing that, uh, we'll be fine.
So, that's kind of the journey that we're doing here. That's why a lot of people are now watching as well, I think. I think to follow up with that process to see where it goes. And, um, yeah, my goal is to show you that it's possible. and also live I guess publicly. If you want to learn about it and have no clue about any education or any volume profile analysis whatever we are discussing on the streams then you can download my book for free.
It's pretty much a book that I written about the volume profile, okay? And you can download in description for free as well. And then you have a good foundation. And the reason why we do that is because then you are on the stream and then you already have a little bit of a background. So it's not completely new to you and random to you. OVERALL, I do like it now. But we really have to break this high. We really have to do it now.
Like the 80 the 81 the very high of the previous day. We really have to break it now. Wow. You see, every time that that 81 level, guys, is a is is a tough level. Is a tough cookie to crack. Yeah, it really is. But luckily we have one thing soon and that is the hourly closure. So if we close above this high above this this level here hopefully not below that really uh hopefully above it then we we're in an okay position but that that 81 level is tough.
It's the previous day for high that Audi can be Chris. pretty much right now I think since our entry we have been pretty much uh yeah flat like we tried to break out multiple times we also were in draw down a couple times as well and every time it came back and it's not going really anywhere but we are trading above opponent control above the V up. Um we are seeing buyers stepping in. We have a lot of sellers being stuck at the bottom.
Yeah, it did follow up with all our confirmations pretty much. Lora, does our strategy work on other time zones and Paris? Yes, absolutely. But you usually trade different setups. I've noticed that in the New York session, the most profitable setups are not the range manipulation setups like um the the ones that we're kind of trading every day now almost luckily where we break about the VWAP control etc. Right. This one similar right today.
Very similar. I mean, it's not as clean now as this one, right? But that's the idea. It's it's it's the same concept. You can see it right now. Look at that. And then look at the screenshot. Isn't that the same? Very similar, right? Look at that. The current price action screenshot. Uh but anyways, um the the big setups that I that I noticed right here usually in a New York session is definitely the uh the see me play.
The C series see me play. The see me play is definitely the one that has been the most interesting during the New York uh session and has been the one with the highest accuracy due to the fact that if there is more volume and you do flip and you break above the value area of a range after manipulation. It usually can lead to like strong a strong squeeze and I've noticed that these levels these these place in New York are usually the best ones.
But the point is you need volume. You need a New York session with F. Yeah. Be right back. Oh man, guys. Wow. What a range. What a range. What a range. What a range. What a range. Yeah, the hourly closure is coming in 5 minutes. It's kind of important. How is this move being sustained without positive delta? I mean, it's pretty positive. It's pretty pretty flat to be honest. Let's actually look at the D bars. It's pretty flat if you ask me.
We're pretty balanced. We're just trading above crucial levels um that I think are very important, but also at the same time where we are getting having a hard time around the very high as well. So I'm going to wait for the hourly closure. Let the hourly closer speak for itself here. The last that I want there is one exit and that is this is this is something I have to be careful with now right the the point of control moving up higher.
That is something that we have to be very cautious with because if um if that happens and you then close uh below the VWAP, yeah, you have to probably cut cut the trade earlier. That's the only rule. Yeah, it's pretty rangey, but um yeah, let's see if we can get a closure above the 81. If that's the case, then that's relatively positive. A lot of people try to short uh gold at the open today. You can see this right here.
A lot of people trying to short gold at the open and then that big spike at 9 came in with buyers breaking above the VWAP and now we're kind of holding at where that actual volume came from, which is this zone. And that's kind of holding us as support now. So yeah, as long as we are staying kind of above the V, we're pretty okay. But even though this there's still sellers, a lot of sellers at the bottom, the stop loss, our stop loss is below it.
Keep that in mind. Our stop loss is below the sellers. >> That's why we had to have that um relatively bigger stop. >> It still fits in our risk though profiles. It's not that it's u not accepted. It's fine from a risk perspective. The the reward makes sense, >> but um yeah, it's not the biggest risk today. >> It's positive positive risk to reward, but it's not the biggest. Okay, now that's not a horrible closure on the hourly in my opinion.
And the hourly canon now opens bearish. It's a bit of a horrendous range, not not going to lie. Cuz this best been an hour now. Yeah. So, what would we want to do? Like for example, even if the hourly comes down, we still have all the sets below. Sometimes it could tap into this and then react. I hope it will not because that's going to give us more draw down. But especially the hourly opens, have a good one, my friend.
We're now tested a Viva. This reminds me a little bit of um Tuesday, I think. Was it Tuesday? I think we experienced something similar. last week Tuesday. Let me see. Um yeah, maybe maybe maybe we had indeed some draw down too and then it flipped. Yeah, there was more volume I think. Look at the order flow. Let me see. Oh, no. Similar modifier. Now, that was pretty much the same amount of flame. Okay. for my man. Welcome to the channel.
Hope you're doing well. If you're new, watch back a couple of streams. Always suggest to do that for um information purposes so you understand what we're doing here, why we're doing what we're doing here. You have a bit more context. Yeah, the the VWAP is still respecting and the hourly candle opened up, right? This is a new hourly candle now. Look at the hourly that suddenly that gives you a completely different picture, right?
Um look at the hourly candle now right here. Is she death? What do you need, Gold? What do you need from us? Double espresso. You need to wake up. Come on. Yeah. Yeah. So that means that we have to watch what happens here if we do decide to come down a bit. What happens at those sellers? Our stops are going to be below. All right. So we have to be aware of that our stop loss is below those sellers. Am I a big fan of of draw down when we pull back into the sellers?
No. Because you could have gotten much better um I would not say better entries because that means we will close below the VWAP again. Uh but but honestly I would not be surprised if this comes down and just flips bullish become serious. We usually draw Friday volume V profile open to close and use the PC for Monday. For example, the previous day. If we are in the previous daily range, we close back above the point of control of the current day.
We need some you need to see some aggressive selling below the VWAP or you need to tap into an important level below. And then you want to see closure above the product control and the VWAP as well. And then you want to target opposing value areas or previous highs or lows. So it's pretty much um it's a very specific setup. We have been trading it every day last week. Every day except for Thursday. Sorry. We have been we traded it Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
Three days in a row. And today again. Yeah. Yeah, we have to be a bit aware now of the fact that we have shifted to very area as well, right? So >> because the more consolidation here, >> the more volume gets traded here, >> the more the value area shifts. And that simply means that um there are two things you could do. You you you could get out of your entry if price retraces back to it and wait for the value or high to be broken again which is the 81. target the same level and then instead of your stop loss below those sellers, you put it below the very low.
You have something like this with the confirmation like that. That is also possibility now that the volume is shifting or you just say you know what just going to leave it see where it goes. We have these sellers at the bottom. I prefer to keep my stop loss below those sellers and I let the price do the rest. Hey buddy, aren't you going to the Forex Expo? Uh, I think the Forex Expo is a bit honestly useless. We can talk about uh whatever.
What do you what are we what are we going to do in the Forex Expo? Like you know honestly what are we going to do there? Talk about the Metatrader Metatrader 5 latest latest update. >> I mean yeah >> it's cool to hang out I think with some people. I think that that's the only way but I would not do it for the companies and things like that right >> maybe for the people right to have a good chat I would say okay so clearly we don't want to do that gold didn't want to push today we have the seller sitting there and there and our stop loss is there.
So this is our last line of defense is holding above those freaking sellers. The stop the trapped sellers. Sorry, I have to I have to mention that the trapped the trapped participators at the bottom here. That's where our stop loss is below them. So hopefully we do uh hold above them. Your stop loss is too big. I don't think so. It's exactly where it's supposed to be. And the risk is exactly how it's supposed to be. No such thing as too big or too small.
It all depends. Hello. Is it better to start properform or live trading? Generally asking depends how much money you have. I think um prop firms come with their own rules. You need to respect the rules. You need to understand the rules. It's a different game. If you don't have the capital, of course, then you can start with prop firms. It's good for practicing too I think. Well, I think once you have you you know that you have an edge, once you have uh you have your data, you have your history, you have your you know your analytics, you have your things in place, you have your setups in place, you know exactly what to look for and why, you have all those rules.
Uh set I think live trading on a live account is um is the best. I truly believe that like you can grow a smaller account into a bigger account. There are a lot there are ways to do so. You you can take a little bit more risk because you understand your data, right? So you're not restricted to that 1% risk per trade type of thing for example, which is a bit too standard. It totally depends on the variance. But I think it's a good way to get started.
And I think then the moment you actually know your data, you know your setups, you know your analytics, I think that's when you can move to life if you can, if you have some capital. This is going to be the real moment of truth for us right now though. It is uh these sellers at the bottom and us really trying to hold on above those two levels because if we don't then it's unfortunately uh not the success we want today.
Same setup, different outcome. Same trading setup, different outcome. Okay, here we are. So, now we are at that zone. It's important moment for us as well. >> But it looks uh on the on the candlestick charts, you would say, "Wow, that looks horrendous. It looks horrendous if you look at the candle six right now. Why do I don't want to close it? Yeah, because of these trap participators at the bottom here. Uh we have a lot of them with high volume as well.
The most volume actually 1.5 um in comparison. But yeah, this is part of our um our variance that we have been talking about. Not every trade will become a success even though it's the exact same setup with the exact same rules. It looked very promising when we started it though, right? But it couldn't it didn't have the power, I guess. So that means we want to see a reaction here. Now we see sellers stepping in at that same level.
So this is obviously super important for us now that we hold above this. What would be the next settle? I would not look at an setup right away. I think honestly I think that was the setup that was the exact setup that we traded pretty much every day. So I don't think I would directly look for a new trade. Is this real money? This is real money. Yeah, this is a real life account. Of course, every trade we take right now is on a real life account.
Yes, the haters are back. Yes. You see that guys? We win every trade. The last week we won every single trade. one trade with some draw down and guess who's back in the chat. Welcome, welcome to the story. The story of Lorenzo's Curado day in the life live life live day trading. Welcome back. Miss you guys. Uh yeah, honestly we have the sellers there. It's the last line of defense. Really not really a big fan of what I'm seeing right now because also there is just no reaction coming from the sellers at the moment.
So I'm not really a big fan of it. when do you look at the previous weekly high uh when trading when we're actually breaking it or when we are getting rejected from it. So in this case, right, we actually looked at we do look at the previous weekly high here. We do have that's that's I would say the next level actually it is this area right here again the previous weekly high and that low volume note right there. If we have to come down lower then that's the next level to look at.
That's the next zone. So you break in it uh you consolidate and we would pretty much I would pretty much be looking for a rebreak above the highs and then look at where the point of control of the value area of today is at and then maybe look for the re-entry instead something like that here I think I would be looking for something similar. So that is a scenario where the basic key uh very high makes sense. Uh today we're trying to deal with the the very very low of the week before.
So we tapped into that we broke it that became a point of interest and then the moment it became a point of interest we watched and we waited for the break above the VWAP and the point of control of the day and then we were supposed to target the highs. Now pretty much we did everything we did in our process to just um take this trade and we have pretty much every confirmation that we wanted from sellers at the bottom strong buying volume and we break the VWAP and we close above the point of control a clear target I would say and uh a good point of interest.
So that is for us the range play setup. It's very similar where we are ranging balanced range fill reclaim the value area then close above the VWAP and a point of control and uh yeah pretty much the same setup as we always have been taking. Now last week we took it three times. with three wins and this seems to be the first potential loss now. So, let's see. How do you adjust the bubbles uh on the exit charts? You go to exit charts.
You go to settings, big trades right here. You click on pick traits and then you go to the circle minus radius and you increase that and that's how these bubbles become bubbles. You can turn them bigger, smaller, bigger, whatever you whatever you prefer. I don't want to have them too big because just to like, you know, sets myself up. But yeah. All right. Think we're going to hit our stops, I guess. I don't think this one uh this one is done.
I think I also don't see really the Voy. Look at that. It's only 1.8K contracts yet. The candles just dropping uh like a tank. All right, we have our last last shot and that is at the bottom of this uh area but it seems to be very bearish. This is our last uh the last chance that we hold above this level but it's very small variance my friends this is what we talked about and also this is why I said at the beginning right uh last this is why I started the stream exactly this way I said I literally said it at the beginning of the stream I said uh if not go back to the beginning of the stream but I I said literally you know we have been winning every day of the week last week we had no losing trades What's going to happen naturally is the gamblers are going to come in.
They see that for a week. They think, "Oh, this is this is a 100% success rate. This is always going to work out every time. I'm going to sell this. I'm going to put everything on this trade on this next big trade on opportunity. Going to sell my house. Going to sell my car. Going to sell my wife's Louis Vuitton back. And I'm going to go all in on this trade." And then we lose, right? So that's why I said don't treat this channel like a casino.
Treat it like a journey. Treat it like a process. Super important that we do that because otherwise you're going to end up um you're going to lose anyways. You will lose in the long you there's no way you will make money. All right. Now we're seeing a reaction right at the same level. It's hilarious actually. Let's make the candles a bit smaller. I want to see the candle. Let's make this uh 20. There we go. Now I can see something.
Yeah, at the same level right here we are getting uh respected. It's hilarious actually. Is that the very low again? I think it is the very low again. Close to it. Yeah, it's hilarious. Uh PC is back at that same area. It's funny as well. talk about it. >> What is the conclusion? Well, Asia is pretty much in a range, right? Nothing to say right now. Like Asia has been ranging. Uh we thought that we would see some sort of breakout.
We followed our setup and we we rolled over, but now we're still holding that support here. Funny enough, the 15 minute is actually flipping almost bullish. And it's right at that last line of defense. Literally the last line of defense right here at the bottom. You see, that's why our stop loss is below that these sellers. It's not because of the low, just because we put our stop loss below a low. It's actually because of the fact that these sellers were there stuck and somehow we're reacting from it.
And again, new sellers are entering the market. And if this 15-minute candle closes above those sellers now again, which I really hope that would be considered really, funny enough, really good, which is right above them in 30 seconds. So, I'm very curious to see where this 50-minut closes. >> Really curious. Look at that. This is second time now. 9 seconds. The candle almost closing green in four, three, two, one. Wow.
Green candle closure again. Same amount of selling at the bottom. Same absorption at the bottom. Wow. Uh, when is this hourly kind of closing? Yeah, 30 minutes. It's still 30 minutes left. Uh, move your stop loss up. No, I think the the stop loss should still be below those sellers, the same sellers that we had. Like, there's a reason why our stop loss went there. And this is a pretty decent closure, I have to admit, from the 15 minute.
So hopefully we just stay above it now. Right, we have another shot. We've been given another opportunity, another uh yeah, chance of survival. But yeah, now the big the big mission uh closing back about the V. It's not going to be easy. why our stop loss didn't go triggered because it's didn't tapped into it. Like there's a reason here, right? why we put it around this area, maybe below the lows, right? There is a reason why we put it around this area because the fact that we want to we want to put ours below the sellers and that's it.
And we saw that once we tapped into this, our stop loss was below sellers stepped into it again and um absorption uh yeah passive buyer stepped in again. So that means that there was a lot more selling than buying the candle flip bullish. So there is still buyer present in the market. It is interesting to see that stabless is huge unless you like smaller R. Yeah, it's um I would say it's in in comparison in terms of our risk it's normal.
It's part of the variance. I think around about average $1,500 risk per trade average. So, it's pretty normal. Sometimes a bit lower, sometimes a bit higher, but it's around that Yeah, we're now that zone where those sellers step stepped in aggressively, right? M where the candle closed above. That's why we're reacting here a little bit. What will be amazing obviously a reclaim again above the VWAP, right? A new closure back above the FAB.
But it's really a messy messy messy day today in comparison to our other uh other days. Yeah. Yeah. What needs to happen? We need to Yeah. respect this level. Of course, we need to close above the VWAP. Um, yeah, a couple things need to happen here. The moment we were there, we thought, okay, I don't see any buyer stepping in. nothing. So I thought okay this is going to be end story for today which is also fine by the way if that would have happened but it would have been done for the session but then volume came in absorption came in and we started to flip and sellers uh stepped in at the bottom.
The question is though, is that going to be enough for us today to get back towards the uh the top of that range? But yeah, that's kind of what we're seeing here. And that's that why it was good to put our stop loss below. Can you elaborate on the numbers on the right? Yeah, the numbers on the right are the in essence the the passive orders, the limit orders. This is why we have an 84 right there. You can actually see it. 84.
Maybe you can see it. It's not that big, but that's the VWAP, right? You can see now that that's kind of where we are, why we're holding that resistance there. Some stacked orders sitting there, >> but it's pretty normal round to feed up. Understand my hand. Hold my hand. Understand. Hold my hand. Understand. Hold my hand. Understand. Why are we facing resistance here? Well, we have a lot of resistance now. Don't get me wrong.
We have a lot of resistance because we have the very low of the day. We're below the VWAP now, below bull control now. But at the same time, we do see like an absorption taking place at the bottom. So we just have to wait, I guess. Have to just wait. Have to just wait. We always want to start the Mondays strong. We want to start the Mondays with a W. That that kicks off the week strong and nice. But yeah, it's not proven to me that Mondays are really uh unpredictable always.
The week before it was for sure. they can be a bit more tricky, but uh it's not proven to me that oh I cannot or I'm not allowed to trade the Mondays or something like that. It's not necessarily always the the I couldn't see oh the Mondays are relatively worse or whatever. But yeah, How long have you been trading gold? A long a long time. A long time. What is your bias overall from an intraday perspective? Uh, same thing to be honest.
Like I'm still relatively neutral. Like I'm not bearish. there too many um too many holes in this [ __ ] to the upside here that make me feel that I really want to short gold. But um I guess what I'm going to do if this one does not play out, I'm going to probably wait for price to come down lower and then look for new buys lower and try later again. Obviously with been a good trade, good confirmation, nothing random.
Another flip. For some reason, the gold does not want to break down further. It doesn't want to break resistance either. Uh, what would you do if you get stopped out? Well, for example, a couple things. I could wait for price to go lower, get to the first low volume note, wait for some sort of low to be taken out here. Um, something like this, for example. I would wait for something like that. I would wait for a consolidation and then maybe like a rebreak above the port of control.
Maybe the VWAP is coming down. The longer the consolidation, the better. And maybe look for another breakout. And I would look for something like that. It could also be that I get stopped out and the price just respects the product of control of the previous day and rebas the VWAP again. I will try probably to enter again another long something like that. It could also be that that would happen that price just now needs to come down to the point of control the previous day.
We then break down, we get stopped out and price just does something like this where the VWAP comes down and the product control moves down or whatever depending on where the product controls at and we would then break above it and then I'll try again. So that is a scenario that I will look at as well. There are a couple scenarios I think that I would look as an alternative. That is a scenario and if uh yeah I think these are like the two scenarios for now that makes the most that make the most sense in worst case scenario right that I would personally look for for now.
Uh it seems that we don't want to really go down. Not saying that it looks really strong, but also every time when sellers step in at the bottom, they get uh no reward. What was our point of interest today? The point of interest today was uh the the weekly the very low of the week before not the previous week but the week before that. That was the point of interest and then we had our regular confirmation trade. So point of interest was the very low.
We got accepted in the value area of the week before. So that is this one. Oh right. Turn off the view for a second. this one right here. Okay, we had the open and the close of the week of S Sunday, September 6th until Sunday, September 13th. The very low is where we tapped into, where we bounced from. That was actually support before, resistance before, and we reacted from it today. And yeah, we had we had some volume coming in.
We had pretty much every confirmation that we wanted. So that's why I'm saying if this doesn't play out, I watch what happens at the point of control or the low note again and we'll do the same thing if we get that same type of confirmation. But it will not be in Asia. That will probably be then New York. Would you add the trade on the draw down? Uh, not in this case because I don't get another opportunity I think at the at the levels that make sense.
It's just a bit too much r it's too gambling. Too much gambling in my opinion. not to add on a new trade in a losing position in this case. >> The only way where I would do it, for example, if if I would see another trading opportunity that I would usually, let's say, take, right? So, I would enter along and then I'm in a range on my draw down, but then a new trade setup plays out. >> Maybe then I would do it. I mean it's impressive that gold is holding though, right?
I'm very impressed also. Um we are we are dealing with the lowest volume today. Uh the lowest volume of this hourly so far. You can tell also that there's pretty pretty low fire right now. The PC shifted down. That's actually good. >> If that's the case on futures as well. Yeah. Let's see. That did not for me. >> Yeah, too much ranging here now. Did you see Armon's fight? I saw it, man. Very nice. I saw it. Yeah, that was very good.
It was very nice. Just was happy happy for him. >> Yeah, pretty much guys. I think that we have to really wait for Vime to kick in. This is this is in my opinion a really like 50/50 scenario because you know we have absorption in one end which is good. you know, you can see this right here. We have all the sellers that are not getting any reward for their actions at all. Um, but at the same time, right, we're below the the value area of today, the Viva, the PC now.
So, you're you're kind of in between this box and what needs to happen clearly is you need to break out of that box. So we need to just break out of it and that's it. So it becomes very 50/50 from here where absolutely beginning it was a lot more confirmation on our hand. So that's it. It's pretty much a 50/50 game here and just waiting. How do you stay How do you stay so calm? Um, like I said so many times, >> we trade the same trade pretty much.
It's the same setup almost. And we know we know how good it has been doing over the last or I know how good it has been doing over the last couple of months. So yeah, if you have like a you know a profit factor of let's say a 321 not a range risk reward but a profit factor or profit factor of a tree sorry. Yeah, that is pretty pretty decent. Nothing random about this setup. No, nothing random at all. Nothing random at all.
We waited for the level point of interest sellers buyer stepping in closure. Uh limit order stop loss below the sellers target pretty clear. So no nothing random. Do you think there's a chance of breaking even? I mean it's the chances are pretty low. Well, I mean like the the way I see it is I don't like it when let's say um you are at the bottom here and the volume drops like heavily. That's usually never really helping me with anything.
Uh this is a moment where you could think about just cutting the trade and just accepting it, just reducing your loss. But at the same time, we know that Asia has those spikes, those moments where it suddenly increases in volume out of nowhere. And the hourly closure is coming. So there's always a bit more volume around the hourly closure as well. So yeah, if the volume really considered to be dropping and dropping and dropping, then yeah, I don't know.
Not my favorite. Why don't you look at the dollar? Uh, it's flying maybe now, but it was not when we were uh when we entered. We were actually below the VWAP. We got rejected at the Vap. hourly closure is in 30 seconds. So, important that we respect this, which we're clearly not doing at the moment because we're back at the same level again for the for the third time right now. Bro, I think your live stream will be rid of 70%.
Uh, something like that, I guess. I think so. I don't understand why it didn't break the previous very high. It closed below it several times. Uh yeah, we talked about the weekly profile, the pre the daily PC, the VWAP, etc., etc. So maybe go back at the beginning so you understand why why we took this setup, how it was orchestrated, how it was the same setup as always. I thought you were a real trader, but it turned out you're a gambler.
Uh because we are experiencing a bit of draw down once in a lifetime. Yeah. All right, new hourly open is right now. Uh we're selling in the bottom wick now. Again, we close below the buyers. So again, it's just reducing the chances that we will not not take out the lows to be honest and get stopped out. But let's see. The very low is again the very low. And the sellers are right below it, but it's it's not looking uh fantastic.
Right. Yes. Nope. I need you. I need you. Wow, it's ridiculous. It's that same level. How How many times have that has that level been holding? It's insane. Ridiculous. The ultimate tease, I would say. It's ridiculous. Wow. Happy new year. Yeah, somehow we uh respected this level again and we did not break it. And again the hourly candle u this was the hourly candle right that just closed and opened again. So this is the bottom wick of the hourly candle so far.
And we did it again. We tapped into that same level again. This been the third time right now. And our stop loss was below it. So yeah, I mean we deserve we deserve sometimes. I'm not sure if this this this doesn't mean anything, right? I mean clearly it does not mean anything because if there's no follow through, it doesn't mean anything. But uh it clearly shows that we deserve to be a bit lucky sometimes as well. Sometimes we're a bit unlucky, right?
Where we set limit orders or something, we never get filled or two weeks ago is a good example of that. But can also work the other way around. Fractal says, Fractal Tutor says we are on live support. That's a good one. I like that. I like that. That's a funny one. Oh, we are at life support. That was That looks horrendous. Wow. This is uh so random again. Market is really teasing us today. But I think what we did was right.
The stop loss has had to be there. If price decides to stop us out and flip bullish, I cannot uh anticipate more risk. It had to be there from the beginning, right? It's always easy to say, let's just move it down, but it is it's not healthy to do this uh from that perspective, from my perspective. You know, there's a reason why I decided to put the stop loss there in the first place, right? Uh I think the product control is still down.
Yeah, still shifting. The VWAP is obviously still below. So there's there are so many different layers to it. Yeah, that last candle was kind of our candle that that was giving me the okay okay potentials. And now this candle is the last one that just smacked us down and closed below again. And this is also the first closure I think below. Yeah, below the low. So, we just need to stick with my exposure. I cannot uh risk more than this.
This is just the real max. And if I enter here and I say my stop loss is there, then my stop loss is there. I'm not going to try to then change it up later. I'm sometimes willing to do okay, there is a lot of participation there, so maybe. But I don't see a new level now where I could say confidently, oh, um, this is what I'm going to do right now. I'm going to put my stop loss lower because of this of X and Y. I'm going to put my stop loss below the next level.
I don't see a next level right now. That makes sense to me. So, there is no reason for me to do it. Love the bubble though. We love to see a red bubble. Love to see a red bubble. But it's too tight. Lorenzo, if this is a loss, would it be the first one? No. No. We have many losses on this stream. We had losing streaks on this stream, too. If you ask me, would this be the first loss uh in a in a week uh or longer? Yes, I think so.
I mean, yes. I mean, uh look at it. So yeah, we we're on a little roll, a little winning streak on the stream. Definitely the last four days. So AR says this is a demo account. I mean you cannot trade with a demo account on Vantage on Trading View. It's not possible. For some reason, we do not want to break this level. We just don't want to break it. Nothing to me screen is bullish, but we don't want to break it. That's what would make it extremely unfortunate, of course, in these situations.
There's nothing you can do about it but uh that you would get stopped out and the price just sweeps the lows one more time and then goes up and makes the real move. It's probable. It's probable but you cannot always avoid that because we can't keep putting our stop loss lower and lower and lower and lower and just hope, right? There's no way that we can do that. Uh because if you would do that all the time, we would get absolutely screwed.
So, what I would rather do is just accept um a losing trade after a bunch of wins, good wins, take that and then wait for a new confirmation again and and see if you can enter later. Some people think that oh because a losing trade is is usually a trade. Oh, we did something wrong. If you looked at my last, I don't know, I think three weeks of trading on stream and you look at every setup I took, okay, every setup, then you would see the same the same process being repeated over and over again.
Uh let's go back to the five minute. Let's look at the value area. The what you want to see if you want to if we have any chance of survival here is us getting inside of the value area again of the day. Sorry, the daily and that chance is very small. It actually it just refuses. It is it's refusing refusing to drop. Anything in regards to news? I mean we have no news this um this week we do have indeed the Japan holiday.
We do had to do that. I don't see it in the volume. maybe now, but at the open we didn't see that at all. We saw the same amount of volume as usual. For the rest, a couple things. The interest rate decision of the Swiss, nothing special. Nothing really changes there. I mean that nothing nothing crazy in terms of news this week whatsoever. How close were you were to stop loss? FY. Look at that. Look at that. And we're still not done yet.
There is no structural break. There is no reclaim of the value area. There is no there's no really proper confirmation that we are we're going to get out of it. The first relief for me would be obviously in the very area, but that means that we have to break inside of the 67. That would be considered um a reclaim. Why stop loss there? Yeah, I mean we talked about mult time but it's below the sellers below where initially during the open today the sellers went were kind of the most aggressive.
You see it right here and pretty much the most aggressive around that area and somehow that is turning into support and again it happened the second time. So we saw it here, we see it here, we see it there, we see it there. So you know this is the thing that makes me hold on to the trade at least because uh the stop loss needs to be there and the main thing is just that like there is a lot of selling here but we have we don't see any follow through whatsoever right we haven't broken the lows of the of the the daily lows yet even but I'm also not here stating now the buyers are in control because they lost lost momentum too, right?
They were very aggressive here and they lost that momentum. So, we're like in the middle of of two areas. So, the chance that we will survive that trade is relatively small because it's also not a good site seeing that much volume coming in and then reversing down. But, I see why we would react here. This is one of those scenarios where I'm like, "Oh man, if I just give it a" This is like one of those those thoughts that come to your mind where it's like, "Oh man, if I just give it a bit more room, then I might, you know, it might take out the lows in reverse." But yeah, it it's all random from my perspective.
So that's why I cannot I can't do that. I can't allow myself to do that. Stick to it. So I prefer to to wait for another confirmation, another session and then go from there if needed. That's a really bad habit. If I would do that all the time, then horrendous. The amount of times I did that when I was, you know, when I started my journey was moving my stop loss lower and lower and then thinking and then it would still go lower.
That's like such a waste. Such a waste. Guys, can you explain me? We've been streaming normal times around two and a half hours, right? Can you explain me when I'm in a winning position? When we are winning. Okay. Can you explain me this please? When we are winning, we are we had a whole winning week, zero losses. Okay. Can you explain me why we had 26,000 views, 28,000 views, 31,000 views, 28 28,000 views, and 44,000 views, okay, last week on the streams.
And when I'm in a losing position, okay, explain it to me, please. When I'm in a losing position, we are at 53,000 views. Can you explain me why that's the case? Same amount of time. Explain me how it works, chat. Tell me what you Say this, bro. You always lose. Stop the cap. Okay. Okay. You're right. I always lose. You're right. Is Isabella a doctor? Yes, we have a doctor in the chat. She is indeed a doctor. I thought she was a nurse or doctor.
I don't know. Doctor, apparently doctor. Okay, come on then. Do it. Yeah. These are like the setups the the losing trades are indeed sometimes the setups where the stop loss is set. Sometimes we do cut the trade earlier but in this case there was just no reason for us to do so because you had all those sellers strongly aggressively at the bottom and you know every time when we tapped into we reacted from it. So you could have hold or held onto it.
So there's not a reason for me to to exit the trade early. So maybe that's why Would you take another trade? Not in this session. I don't think so. No, I don't think it makes sense. Maybe later. Maybe later. Now watch what happens if we do decide to drop. What levels are we could we potentially drop into? Uh we have the low volume note. We have the previous daily point control. We have we have definitely a couple of levels which I would definitely look at and then see if price allows us to get back into the into the value area of today and then pretty much go from there. pretty much go from there.
But uh yeah, every closure is is not in our favor, including this one. 30 minute close below. So it simply is going to mean we're going to get stopped and then I'm going to later on wait for another level to be hit. Previous daily point of control 544. before we have the low volume note. What else do we have? Um, yeah, I mean 44 is the most important one in my opinion for now after the the 54 the 44 and if something decides to change according to the VWAP then we just have to break the port of control again of the day and try again. hit 165,000 subs.
Thank you, man. I appreciate that, bro. Appreciate it. This is the most trolling we've ever seen since uh 11. So that's 30 minutes ago. Uh, when is the elite opening again? Not yet. Not yet. Not yet. I think we still have a long way to go. Like five weeks or something. Yeah. >> Five weeks. Today we have the New York session. We're going to trade the New York session in the in the group. So hopefully today the volume in New York will be a bit better.
The thing is about these candles, every bullish candle you see here looks fantastic, but then it flips like it's nothing, right? If there is no follow through, it's kind of meaningless. But uh yeah, it's ridiculous how uh how well that exact level at the bottom there is holding up. >> I got to test the fail area again. Oh. I was actually going we're supposed to train today with my personal trainer, but uh I guess I don't have time for this now.
I don't know what to tell him now. Should I wait? I'll wait 10 minutes to see what before I text him. Look at the hourly. and rejection. Where does the volume come? Yeah, very low. You see? Yeah, that that that's it. So that's the that's that's the reclaim we need to make if you want to survive this. We want to reclaim that level the value area low of the day pretty much. So it's exactly that low that needs to be reclaimed first.
And that seems to be very tough already. But it is really crazy because like we were extremely close to our stop loss so many times over today. It's ridiculous actually. Uh one, two, three, four, five times in a row. We were less than five pips away. Think about that. Less than five pips away. Thank god I have an ECN account. A raw ECN account. Yeah. What needs to happen first? Reclaim in the inside of the V area of the daily.
So of today, what needs to happen then? The VB and opponent control which going to be the most incredibly tough to break. But Yeah, I mean the gold is refusing to break to break down and the hourly candle is going to close. >> I mean in like what 15 and again if you go back to the hourly candle now. Okay, this is the hourly candle. Where has the most selling been taking place? Uh again at the bottom. Do you see that?
Somehow sellers enter at the bottom and buyers enter at the No, in this case sellers entered at the top as well. But in this example of this hourly candle, most of the volume of this hourly candle was at around the bottom. That's why there is a white line around that. We call that the point of control of the hourly candle. And that is in essence a zone. So if that closes, if the hourly candle closes, let's say above it.
Okay. Then we have trapped market participator sitting there. And it could be that the next hourly candle then taps into that into that area into the P of that candle and reacts from it. But like I mean 20 minutes is a lot of time. A lot can happen. A lot more volume can be executed at the top which changes and flips the point of control to the upside. So there's enough time to not um confirm that yet. But this stop loss so far has been insane.
I think um if we just stream longer, we'll reach the 100,000 views on on the stream. Probably at some point we will not 57. It usually happens when days like these happen. >> Yeah. Praise him. A person like you doesn't deserve any haters. Well, the thing is, you know, um contrast is a good thing, you know. Contrast is positive. Contrast. Yeah. >> Okay. We're trying to break back inside of the very area now. This is actually very positive to be real honest.
Like really uh if the 15-minut closes above those sellers again here, then we've closed officially above them above the previous 30 minute uh sellers. And you can see what happened today. Like like when we set in the low of day right here, we saw sellers not getting rewarded again in a pullback. Sellers not getting rewarded again. Sellers entering at the bottom, not getting rewarded. Entering at the bottom, not getting rewarded, not getting rewarded every time.
And now we're going to see a 15-minute closer potentially maybe closing above them again. So it's very interesting to watch this in real time and that's why I love order flow so much. It's not always about you know trying to be cool orderflow trading. No, just generally I generally find it interesting interesting to see how these uh crucial areas of support or resistance are getting respected and see what happen what's actually happening there. 50-minute closure in um 30 seconds.
Back at the VWAP, we did close above it. Not above the VWAP, but above the sellers. And we are inside of the value area again of the day. Who would have thought that? Uh, now it's time to the view app though. Now we're back at it or close to it, I would better say. Another question is what happens when we retest um those sellers now that we close back above them again. Where would the confidence go up? Well, if we can break above the VWAP again, of course, close above the bike, a 50-minute closure above it, etc., etc., it's actually this one right here.
Yeah, the V can always be an issue. Of course, we know that Yeah, these are exactly always the longest streams. It's when um when I have my stop loss set and it creeps to my stop loss and uh there is no reason to to exit the trade earlier and it creeps to your stop loss, but it doesn't tap you out and it ranges. It starts to range above it. These dreams happen once in a while. Yeah, in terms of the opening of today though, like it's fair choppy, let's be honest.
Um, high of day, low of day, pretty much in a range. We started to push down. We had a push up, push down, a push up. Um, yeah, no reversal confirmation whatsoever though. >> Why are wind sometimes uh quicker? Because the volume also helps us a bit of that. The volume comes in the follow through the volume. So far uh still rejection at the uh daily value area. So the very low obviously the VWAP is sitting around that same level here.
We haven't really tapped into it yet. Today is the ultimate the ultimate like we have been through some trades here and there but today has been the ultimate to be honest. I rather I rather get stopped out in 5 minutes. Like I really prefer that. Like okay, I was wrong. Boom. Uh price didn't play out according to their setup, but we followed all our rules, so it's all good. Let's just go for it. Boom. Okay, next. End of the session.
Next setup or the next the next session. Just an advice request. Sometimes the gold price action is choppy. Why don't you add one more asset to to find trades simultaneously? Yeah. So, let's you know what? Let's just increase our risk exposure even more by adding another instrument. So, we can look at two instruments at the same time. take another trade. The thing about it is, man, the more we focus on, the more variance we have.
And if there is something that I've learned is that every uh instrument has its own mechanics and you really need to study those mechanics very well to understand how it moves, why it moves, you know, the good sides of it, the bad side of the bad sides of it. And if you start doing that with multiple assets continuously, then it's going to be very difficult to u maintain that variance that variance level. So I prefer to focus on one at a time, right?
And I do agree that the NASCA is another asset you could look at. We could look at for example, but it's kind of like one or the other. Uh but now the main focus in the last couple of weeks especially months maybe two months has been predominantly uh gold focus on gold and trading the specific setups according to that. And I love I I don't I don't mind gold being in a range at all. Like I don't mind this at all. Maybe this one today, okay, is a bit choppy, but when the markets is ranging, I don't mind ranging markets.
Like I really do not mind. There are really um really good setups that come from it. Would I prefer a beautiful trend where gold is just pushing with a lot of volume? obviously, but I hope that will come later on. Maybe at the end of the year or maybe at the first quarter of next year. Okay. Is this then the moment? Yes, this is the moment, I guess. Okay, I'm happy. I'm happy that we got out. I'm actually very relieved, very happy about it.
I don't like staying in the straight forever and ever and ever. To be honest, when I when I get into a setup, I prefer to get invalidated immediately and not after an hour ranging and then still getting invalidated. That's like such a waste of time. So, I'm happy that we're we're out of the trade right now. Uh conclusion is uh this is the first losing uh losing losing trade after the last week. So we had four wins, one no trading day and now one loss.
So we'll take it. Uh we followed the process exactly the way we should have followed the process. Very very low, a lot of selling. uh break above the VWAP and the port of control clear targets and uh yeah no no follow through no follow through right here around this uh around this level overall. Okay, we utilized the 900 p.m. volume which was right here and it let us do not follow through. So, we'll take it and then we'll try it again later on.
And we'll I'm just going to keep following up with that same process and then we'll um we'll see how we end the month. How we end the month and if you can just follow up with our playbooks. Okay. The biggest the biggest lesson for me is always um don't deviate away from the playbook. Just stick to it. Don't try to experiment too much. now like I kind of surpassed that stage where I want to experiment with new trades and new things and should I just give it a try like that thought process I way surpass that stage right now I don't need to give things a try anymore in terms of you know let's just give it a try ah [ __ ] it like that mindset uh no it's very clear what we're looking for okay it is uh extremely clear what we're looking for on a daily uh yeah on a daily basis this.
Okay. So, one more time, what is the reason for the entry? Um, well, number one, we got accepted inside of the value area of the previous week. Not the week before, not this week, but the the week before that. Uh, we did react from it. We actually manipulated out of it. So, that was right here. We had that wick. Okay. Right here, we came out of it. This is for me always a point of interest. Are we going to break out of the fair value of the week or are we going to get reaccepted inside of it?
Now, we did got reaccepted. Okay, we had to then break the point of control. Now, that was this level, the red line right there. So, we had the point of control. Okay. Now, what was the rule? The rule was the rule was pardon mark on the previous day the recurring week or the previous week break out of the value area. Now that's what we saw aggressive buying or selling. Now that's what we saw at the bottom here. We saw aggressive selling.
Okay, that was good. Then price came up and we saw buyers stepping in here a lot of buying. That is the reversal. So price comes back into the V area. It reclaims the VWAP. No, it reclaimed the VWAP. Boom. Then, sorry. Then it had to show us. Is it this one or this one? Um, there we go. It must also break the current day point of control. Yep. So, that's another one. We had to go and break above the point of control.
Now, that's what we didn't do yet. So we waited, waited, waited, waited, waited. Port control is right there. Boom. Closure above the point of control. So point of interest, closure about product on the VWAP and then instead of entering right away, we entered on the retest. So we had the closure and then we had a limit order set right here. And that was our entry. And it looked really good. But then price started to range and it filled and it broke below right there.
Okay. So that is that. All right. No follow through but process was followed and um we've made more money from this process so far in the last week. Now our goal is to maintain uh stable and keep following up with the same the same process. If you ask me the question, would you take this trade again? I I would say yeah, I would take it again. But however, uh what's happening right now? What's the next step? Okay, like I said before, I'm going to mark out the previous trading week.
If you would come lower, I would watch what happens. right here because right now we're dealing with the physically range. This is the pically range. Okay, we had one there. Oh, one we had the open here and then we had the close roughly speaking there of the previous week. Okay. Now, what happened? We closed above it. We're going to test one of those areas soon. You see all those gaps, right? Do you see that? So, we have high volume, low volume, high volume, low volume, high volume, low volume, high volume, low volume.
We have all these low volume notes inside of it. Okay. And to me, that's um these are very important levels. And this is why I'm going to be very careful with shorting our gold because of the fact that we have those zones and levels there. Okay, we could easily react from any one of those levels. So, what I really would prefer personally instead of looking for longs or shorts is to really see if if gold is willing to react from any of those levels again.
Okay. So, react from any of those levels in any way, shape or form and find the level that fits the best according to the current price action. So, the moment we are actually there, what do I think could happen or what I think I would be looking for a retracement into that and then there okay see how price reacts from it and maybe take out quote unquote the lows consolidate and then breaks back higher. Something like that is what I would be looking for.
That could be one scenario. Another scenario is that we also have a previous daily range that we're still in. We're still inside of the very high, the very low, right? We knew that this is where we have to be a bit careful at the very high. Unfortunately, we didn't close above that. But the next level is the point of control of the previous day uh right here and the value area low. So, this is pretty much my main level.
It's actually not the 54. It is actually more the 44. Okay. The 44 is preferably what I would like because you you would then potentially get out of the very very low of the previous day. Maybe we would get back inside of it. We would get accepted at it again and then we'll we'll try to go. So I predominantly we look at the 44 if we would come down lower and see if price later on maybe New York could get there. if price is bearish for London and then maybe I would look for another another entry.
What if price is suddenly bullish? How would you deal with that? Well, there's only one way for me to deal with this and that is to mark out the varn of day. Okay. And this is the last scenario. So this is the only scenario I would be looking for the 44 if we are quote unquote bullish. Okay. And the thing will will flip here. There is a lot of consolidation happening at the bottom. Right? So if there's a lot of consolidation happening at the bottom, it could be that at some moment in time the point of control of today which is now sitting at 78 will move down.
So it will move lower. Okay. If we decide let's say with the port of control to move lower, let's say it moves to this level the 63. You tap it to the point of control the previous day and you reclaim again uh the VWAP. So for example, we have the VWAP right here. We the VB is coming down with us and we would close above it again. And we would do something like uh this where we would simply close above this. Then I would try again if that makes sense.
But the point of control needs to be lower. Okay, it needs to be lower of the current day. It can't be at the top. It needs to move down because the logic behind it is the more volume that gets traded below, the better it then is if you break out to the upside again. Okay. Until then, if that does not happen, I I remain now quoteunquote bearish until um yeah, potentially the 54 and the 44 get hit. But I would look for the 44 because if you get rejected very high, then I prefer to go to the very area low of the previous day first and then see if we could hold that level and then get a new confirmation.
Okay. couple of scenarios that I would look for right now that I'm going to do uh that I'm going to trade again if needed. Um this was not the the the setup today of unfortunately but part of the deal. Okay, this probably will be added to our P&L box soon and then we're going to come back tomorrow again and see in Asia if it will be uh a little bit better. Okay, but um yeah, conclusion I'm going to be cautious with shorting gold.
Um, according to the previous weekly structure, trying to be very careful with shorting. I rather look for pullbacks, deeper pullbacks if needed for new longs than shorts right now at the moment. Okay. All right, guys. Uh, thank you for joining, coming along in the stream here. It was a huge stream. Of course, again, it's always when I have these trades, when I'm stuck in a trade, it's always going to be a huge freaking stream.
This is always always how it works for some reason. Obviously, the streams are a bit longer, too. So, that makes uh that makes total sense, right? Makes total sense. Uh thank you guys for following up here and sticking with us. And um yeah, that's what the process looks like and that's what our journey is going to look like, too. I'm going to see you tomorrow, same time, and we're going to repeat the process again and do the same thing again, hopefully with a different outcome tomorrow.
Yes. Thank you guys. Much love. Appreciate you all. >> And I'm going to see you guys. Have a great rest of your day. And uh the elite I'm going to see you in the New York session. Yeah. All right. Peace. Thank you. >> Much love. Much love. I need you. I need you. I need you. >> Good luck, guys. Much love. See you. See you tomorrow. Same time. Ciao.
