I want to start today's video with a question. Have you ever told yourself, "That's it. I'm not going to be checking anymore. You're not going to check their social media. You're not going to check if they have viewed your story. You're not going to keep refreshing your messages. You're not going to keep looking for signs. You're not going to check if they've unblocked you. You're not going to try and analyze every little thing." And yet, a few minutes later, a few hours later, you find yourself checking anyway.
Maybe you're looking to see if they've been online. Maybe you're wondering if something they've posted means anything. Maybe you're checking if they're following someone new. Maybe you're looking for movement, or maybe you're looking for proof. And if you've done that, or maybe if you're still doing that, I want you to know first of all that you're not alone. In fact, almost every person who has ever manifested an SP has experienced that at some point or other.
And so, in today's video, I don't want to simply tell you to stop checking. Instead, I want to help you understand that the checking is not the actual problem. Because checking is actually a symptom. The real question is not why do I keep checking. The real question is, "What do I hope that the checking will give me?" Because every behavior, you guys, serves a purpose. Even those behaviors that we wish we didn't engage in, that we wish we didn't have.
And what happens is that when you understand the purpose behind the behavior, you can then find it much easier to shift the behavior. So, this is what today's video is all about. Before I begin, hello and welcome. My name is Christina from Empowered Creator. I am a mindset and conscious manifesting teacher and coach, and this is my YouTube channel. Here I talk about all things law of assumption, mindset, conscious manifesting, the quantum universe, and a lot more.

So, if you're interested in any of these services, the links are below in the description box.
Click on them and they're going to take you to my website or to my membership channel. With all that being said, let's dive into today's video. So, I want you to think about the word proof for a moment. When people say, "I just wish I could see some movement." or "I just wish they would text me so that I could make sure that this is working." or "I just want one sign." or anything along those lines, what they are really saying is "I need reassurance." And I I this is a very important distinction because most people aren't actually looking for proof and evidence as such.
They are looking for reassurance and for relief and for safety. Relief from uncertainty, relief from anxiety, relief from not knowing what's going to happen next. And the mind doesn't like uncertainty. It wants answers. It wants predictability. It wants to know where it stands. And so when something feels emotionally important to us, for example, our relationship with our SP, our desire to be in a relationship with our SP, we immediately and automatically and very naturally become more sensitive to uncertainty.
And so this is when the mind starts looking for information, any information, even tiny pieces of information. And this is why you see people microanalyzing and microscrutinizing every little thing and every little detail, every little interaction that happens in the 3D, which normally they wouldn't even pay any attention to. Things like, why did they like that post? Why did they view my story so quickly? Why haven't they posted anything in 3 days or in a week?
Why did they suddenly change their profile picture? Does this mean anything? And before long, you have unknowingly become like a detective trying to solve a mystery. But here's what I want you to start paying attention to. Every little piece of information only makes you feel better temporarily. Let's imagine that your SP finally texts you. For the first few minutes, maybe even first few hours, that feels amazing. You are thinking, yay, hooray, finally this is happening, Finally, I'm getting some movement.
But then what happens? Then your mind moves to the next question. What does their text actually mean? Then maybe they take a few hours to reply, and then your anxiety comes back. Or maybe they liked one of your photos. In the beginning, it feels amazing. You feel very excited. You're so happy. But soon enough, more questions arise. Does this mean anything? Were they just being nice? Do they like everyone's photos? Or maybe you notice that they've unblocked you, and in the beginning, that feels great.
You're so happy. You're so excited. But then you start thinking, "Okay, but why haven't they reached out yet?" Do you see a pattern here? Do you see that the goalpost keeps moving? And that one thing that you thought was going to make you secure, turns out that it didn't. Because security was never coming from the circumstance itself. It was coming from the meaning that you were hoping that circumstance was going to give you.
And meaning is always up for debate. That's why physical proof never lasts for long. There is always another question. There is always another interpretation. There was always another uncertainty. And if you have made your peace of mind and your peace of heart depend solely on the external proof and seeking external proof, then guess what? You will always need more and more and more and more proof indefinitely. Now, there is something truly magnificent about the human brain.
It doesn't just observe reality. It interprets reality. And once it forms a belief or a story around a certain situation, it then starts looking for evidence to support that assumption, that story, that belief. This is what is called confirmation bias in psychology, and don't worry, you don't have to remember the term. You just need to know and understand how it works. Imagine that someone believes people always leave me.
Without realizing they're becoming susceptible and very, very sensitive to anything and everything, even the tiniest thing that might support that belief. For example, a delayed text, that is evidence that people leave me. Some plans that were canceled, that is evidence that people always leave me. Someone telling them that they need some space, that becomes evidence that people always leave me. Now, imagine a different person or perhaps the same person believing instead that I am always deeply valued by people.
The same text, the same delayed text, doesn't automatically become evidence of rejection. It is just viewed and interpreted as just that. It's just a delayed text. They just took longer to respond. The circumstance itself has not changed, but the interpretation of it has changed. And this is what is so interesting and so fascinating. Because so many people believe that they're looking for evidence in connection with their SP, but in reality, they are looking for evidence about themselves.
Deep down, they are trying to answer questions like am I lovable? Am I worthy? Do I matter? Am I chosen? Am I enough? Those are identity questions, you guys. They are not relationship questions. And until that identity starts shifting, the need for proof and for evidence from the 3D usually stays there and remains. Here's something for you to really understand this better. Imagine two different people experiencing the exact same circumstance, the exact same factual experience in the 3D.
Let's say that they receive the exact same text message that says, "Sorry, I've been busy." One person reads it and thinks, "That's okay. They will just text when they can." The other person reads it and thinks, "Oh my god, they're pulling away." Same message, different experiences. Why is that? That is because they're not just simply responding to words. They are instead responding to the meaning that they have assigned to those words.
And all of us do this all the time, not just in relationships, we do it in all areas of our life. We rarely experience reality exactly as it is. Instead, we tend to experience reality through our assumptions, through our expectations, through our beliefs about ourselves, about others, about life, about relationships, about our SP, and so on. And that's why two different people can experience the exact same circumstance and yet walk away from it with completely different conclusions.
One sees rejection, the other sees potential. One sees possibility, the other sees evidence that nothing will ever change. So, the actual question is not what does this circumstance mean? The real question is or should be, "What meaning am I giving this circumstance?" Because the meaning did not arrive with a circumstance. The meaning, you brought it with you. So, that is something that is very important to realize. And once you realize that, something very powerful happens.
You begin to see that maybe, just maybe, your peace never actually depended on your SP's behavior. Instead, your peace has depended on the story you've been telling yourself about their behavior. Now, let's be honest here for a second. Checking tends to feel productive. It makes you feel like you're doing something. Waiting can feel very passive. Checking and analyzing and overthinking feels very, very productive and it feels active.
And so, the mind says, "If I keep paying attention, maybe I will catch the sign I've been looking for." But, there is a hidden cost to that. And that is every time you're checking for a sign, every time you're checking for movement, every time you're over analyzing the 3D for some sort of evidence, some sort of meaning, you are giving yourself this message. "I am not safe until the 3D tells me that I'm safe." And think about that for a minute.
That is a very, very different statement than "I trust myself." Every search, every refresh, every check, every analysis, every bit of overthinking, every late night scrolling, all of it reinforces the idea and the concept that your peace of mind and your emotional safety depends on external information. And over time, that becomes very taxing and very exhausting because what you're doing is you're asking the external world to help you regulate an inner feeling.
And unfortunately, whether we like it or not, the external world can never do that with extreme consistency. So, before we move on to the next part of our conversation here, I want you guys to start pondering a certain question. What is the real, true, and genuine reason you're actually checking? Is it because you're looking for information and evidence? Or is it because you're hoping that the external world will finally give you permission to feel secure?
Because if that is true, then sadly, no amount of evidence is ever going to be enough. At least not for long, not until the source of security actually changes, and this is what we're going to explore next. In this next part of the conversation, I'm going to talk about what it really means to live in the end, what it actually means to trust yourself, and why it's so often misunderstood, and how to stop needing proof.
Not by forcing yourself to stop seeking evidence, but by becoming the version of yourself who no longer needs that external reassurance to feel okay. So, let's start discussing what we can actually choose instead. Because there is a very big misunderstanding, including within the manifesting community, that in order to stop looking for proof, you simply need to stop checking. You will often hear advice like, "Stop checking the 3D.
Stop looking for reassurance in the 3D. Stop looking for movement." But if you've ever tried to force yourself not to check, you probably know by now that this doesn't work so well. Maybe it works for a few days. Maybe it works for a week, but the underlying anxiety is still there and usually it finds another way to express itself. So, maybe you stop checking their Instagram, but you're still looking for angel numbers.
Maybe you stop checking for signs, but now you're watching tarot card readings to get that reassurance. Maybe you stop refreshing your messages, but now you're watching a bunch of YouTube videos hoping to find the one that tells you and reassures you that everything is going to be okay. The behavior changes, but the need that's underneath it remains the same. And this is exactly why I told you guys earlier that this is not about checking or not checking for proof and for evidence and for movement.
This is all about needing reassurance. When I realized this back in the day, that was a huge realization for me and it made a huge difference because a lot of people confuse the two. They think they're actually trying to build trust by looking for evidence, but in reality they're only seeking reassurance. And those are two very, very different things. The need for reassurance says, "I will only be okay once something from the outside, from the external world, tells me that I can be okay." Trust, on the other hand, says, "I am choosing to be okay and I am choosing to stay grounded even if I don't have all the answers yet." And I want you to think of all the healthy relationships in your life.
Maybe it's a friendship, maybe it's a family connection, maybe it's even a romantic relationship. If you constantly needed that other person to prove to you every single day that they care about you, how exhausting would that become and how fast? Eventually, you would stop experiencing the relationship and you would be instead be managing your anxiety. And unfortunately, I see that happening so, so much in manifestation.
We stop relating to our desires and we start managing our fear. Every search, every refresh, every check for a text or a call, every search for a sign, all of that becomes another and another and another and another quest to quiet that uncertainty. But here is something that is very, very important that I really want you to remember. Reassurance, or rather the need for reassurance, always expires. Trust, on the other hand, never does.
Now, let's talk about one of the most misunderstood ideas in conscious manifesting, the idea and the concept of living in the end. The impression I get is that a lot of people here living in the end and they interpret it as it meaning that they need to be pretending. Pretending that your SP has already texted, pretending that you're already together, pretending that the circumstances don't exist, but this is not what living in the end means or what it is about.
Living in the end does not mean pretending that your reality is different. It means refusing to let today's reality determine who you are. So, these are two very, very different things. You can acknowledge, for example, that you are in no contact with your SP right now, without making that mean though that you are unwanted. You can acknowledge that there is a third party without deciding that you've lost them for good.
You can acknowledge that you're dealing with long distance at the moment without deciding that because of that love is impossible. And notice what happens if you start doing that. The circumstance remains where it is. However, your identity stops depending on it. Your identity stops being attached to the circumstance. And that's incredibly liberating, you guys, because instead of trying to micromanage every circumstance or trying to change every circumstance, you are now shifting your attention to how you are experiencing yourself.
And to illustrate this a little further and a little better, ask yourself this. Who decides if today is a good day? You or whether your SP texts you today or not? Who decides whether you're lovable? You or whether your SP viewed your story or not? Who decides if you're chosen? You or whether the circumstances changed today or not? These questions can feel uncomfortable, you guys, because many of us have unknowingly outsourced our emotional well-being to someone else, to some external circumstances.
We've handed it over to someone else's actions, and we've done all of that without even realizing it. We've made another person's behavior and how they show up responsible for our our own emotional well-being and our own state. And that is a very, very heavy burden to place on another human being, as well as making us extremely disempowered. Because now our emotional state rises or falls with every little text, every little movement, every little check-in on social media.
And imagine living like that for years. How exhausting would that be? How exhausting would it become? Now, imagine something else. Imagine waking up and deciding my value is not tied to a text. My worth is still there. My deservability doesn't move around and is not attached to whether I hear from my SP or not or is not associated with my SP's behavior. How liberating would that feel and how much better would your day actually be?
And since we've been talking about living in the end and trusting, I want to make another distinction here between hope and trust. Hope says, "I hope things work out." Trust instead says, "I know things will work out. Whatever happens, I know who I am and I may not know how things will happen, I may not know when they may happen, but I am still trusting, I still know who I am and I choose to dwell in that feeling." Can't you feel the difference between the two states?
Hope is often focused on the outcome. Trust on the other hand just knows. Trust is focused on identity. Hope waits. Trust lives. Hope asks, "When will I finally feel secure?" Trust says, "I'm feeling secure right now. I am practicing feeling secure right now." And the most interesting thing that happens when we start practicing along those lines is that our need for reassurance and our need to look for proof very, very often dissipates.
And that's not because we forced ourselves to do it and we didn't force anything and we didn't pretend anything, we just became the version of ourselves who no longer feels reassurance for our emotional well-being, our peace of mind, and in order for us to feel okay. In other words, we are no longer depending on circumstances to regulate our emotions. So, instead of asking, "When is it finally going to happen?" start asking, "Who am I being today?" Instead of asking, "What are they up to?
What are they doing?" start asking, "What assumptions did I practice today?" Instead of asking, "Why isn't it here yet?" start asking, "What would the version of myself who trusts that everything is working out feel like?" And these questions don't deny your desire. They simply redirect your attention to where you have actual influence, your assumptions, your beliefs, your inner state, your identity, and your inner experience.
And so, one of the biggest shifts that anyone can experience in their manifesting journey of their SP or any other desire for that matter is the shift from postponing our emotional well-being to practicing it right now. We often treat emotional security as something that we are going to experience later. Later when they text. Later after the circumstances have changed. Later when we're finally together. However, emotional security is not a reward.
Emotional security is an identity. It's something you practice just like confidence, just like self-respect, just like patience. No one suddenly becomes secure because one circumstance changed. They become secure because they stopped asking the circumstances to tell them who they are. And I believe that this is where true empowerment begins. And I want to present a final concept before I wrap this video up. Imagine walking around all day carrying a mirror with you.
But instead of using it to look at yourself, you keep using it and holding it up to other people. You're constantly asking, "Tell me who I am. Tell me if I'm enough. Tell me if I'm lovable. Tell me if I'm worthy. Tell me if I'm chosen. Tell me if I'm wanted. Tell me if I'm loved." And eventually, by doing this so much, you forget that the mirror was never meant to determine your identity. The mirror was only always there to reflect where your attention had been.
And looking for evidence works in exactly the same way. Every time you're looking outside yourself, searching for evidence, searching for movement, you are essentially asking the question, "Am I enough?" And so, here's what I'm hoping that you can begin to see with today's video, that no one can answer that for you. Your SP cannot answer that for you. A text from your SP cannot answer that for you. A sign cannot answer that for you.
Movement in the 3D cannot answer that for you. Because even if they did, that would only last until the next moment of uncertainty came up. And as we said, peace, real, true, genuine peace, and real, true, genuine emotional well-being doesn't depend on how much proof you get. It depends on being the version of yourself who no longer needs that proof for peace, for reassurance, and for emotional well-being. It comes from no longer needing proof to believe in your own worth.
And if manifestation has taught me one above and beyond anything else, it's that. It's not simply about creating different circumstances, it's about becoming a different version of yourself. A version of yourself who knows my value isn't on trial. My worth isn't waiting for confirmation. My lovability does not depend on any external circumstances. And when you start living in that space, there's something very, very beautiful that happens.
Whether your manifestation comes in tomorrow or next month or in a completely unexpected way, you've already started creating the one thing that no one can ever take away from you, a sense of deep trust in yourself. And ultimately, and in my opinion, that is the greatest manifestation of all. With all that being said, I'm going to wrap up this video here. I intend that this has helped. As always, I very much appreciate you guys being on this channel, watching this content.
I love making this content for you. And as always, I look forward to seeing you all at the next video. Until then, take care and bye-bye.
