Hello everyone. The Nuts Mindset Project. Today I have a really interesting video for you all. I see a lot of people in ranked doing the same mistakes over and over, so I compiled 11 topics that will help you to abuse the system and climb fast. And I promise, if you watch till the end, you will come out as a better Valorant player. First topic I would like to touch is warm-up because without warm-up going to the ranked and trying to achieve what you want, I don't think it's a good idea.

So, in warm-up we need to include three things. First of all, we need to include stretches because we're sitting a lot, we're playing the game a lot. It's uh not natural for our body to sit so much. That's why we need to do the stretches. So, for the stretches, I'll just suggest the default ones. First of all, do the wrist circles, right? I will suggest this as a default one. After that, let's do some stretch for the the whole hand, right?

And I would suggest it like to hold it for 10 15 seconds. Later on we'll switch to this one, also 10 15 seconds. I'm just not going to do it for so long. Later on 10 15 seconds here and 10 [snorts] 15 seconds here. Later on some some like this, later on some shoulder ones. And overall like any upper body things you can include, but later on make sure to include something for the lower body also. Our legs is not really involved in what's happening, so that's why we need to also increase the blood flow in the legs.

And here you can do any different stretches. I like to do squats, so you can just do And that's it. You are ready to go and play and do the warm-up there. Second thing we need to make sure that our keyboard, mouse, button the mouse in the comfortable places for us. We sit We are ready to play the game. The moment this thing is done, now we need to warm up actually in game. So, the warm-up takes these two things three things before we go to ranked.

It's not go and shoot bots. Now we'll go to the range. We will do different warm-ups you can check in the in my other videos. My suggestion would be for people who is trying to plant the the spike because I'm usually not doing it, but I would still suggest play one deathmatch. One deathmatch would be very helpful at the start. Second topic I would like to touch is to choose a main role because that's also very very important when you're going to be planning to climb in ranked.

You can either choose the agents that is like easier to carry games on, right? It's like as we're speaking, it's like usually it's duelists, but I think nowadays you can play any agent, honestly. I think the agent that you're going to be planning to play on needs to be very comfortable and enjoyable for you. Make sure you try all of the agents. Make sure you understand the role you want to play on and later on choose the agent.

I would suggest sticking on two or three agents still, not just on one because first of all, there is a instalocks happening and second of all, you just need to have opportunities to play the on the other agents. There is also the map dependent things. So, that's why I would suggest try everything, stick after that to the role, maybe two roles and just play on that agents. You will master them and later on in ranked games like when you will achieve the Radiant and maybe you will want to go to the team, you will be already knowing a lot.

Third topic I would like to touch and most likely it's the most important one is the mentality with what mentality you're coming to the to the goal, to the achieving your Radiant or Immortal, whatever you decide for yourself. And what I'm saying is very important because every one of us knows that it happens when there there is a bad teammates coming right to the team or someone is dodging. Bro, why always notice like every time every time bro.

Yeah, report Gecko. Actually true. Bro, I love you nuts. Have a good luck on your placements. I'm sorry that I'm not replying to you. I'm not Sorry, I was reporting him. Thank you so much. See you next game. We just getting annoyed, we getting tilted because of that. So, that's why the mentality should be towards your goal. Like you come here to improve, right? You're coming to learn the agent you're playing on. You're trying to master it and you're trying to still achieve the Radiant, but the most important you need to improve day by day.

It happens to everyone that you're having a bad teammates. It's not just happening to some certain people, it happens to everyone. But the most important that you will be improving day by day and by improving day by day, no matter what you will achieve what you want to because you will be becoming better and even the game sometimes giving the bad teammates, it's not going to affect that and you will achieve the goal no matter what.

Write down in the comments with what you're struggling in ranked and I'll reply on it. Fourth topic I would like to touch is the minimap. Let's say I'm playing close range as a Viper, right? I'm doing my normal stuff, I'm doing my short and there is happening some stuff on long and I see five people and I can instantly take the timing behind or I can insta overtake back on B without them even saying to me. But the main important thing and that's what you will need to learn by your own.

Don't overwatch to the minimap, especially in the very contact position. So, for example, even if you jiggle here don't jiggle and don't watch minimap. It's like go for a second here, watch the minimap and keep jiggling after. If for example, if you're playing on the contact of your teammate, you're sitting like this, you're watching the minimap, okay, the corner happened, you instantly pick. In that case, you're using the minimap properly.

Topic five. VOD review and learning on the mistakes. It's a very important tool to learn what you did wrong and to improve. That's the basically the main tool to improve in the game understanding. Since you're playing ranked, you can literally just download the VOD and later on just go and check. Check the rounds where let's say you died in a weird way. Understand why you did it. Understand the reason of your move and what you could do better there.

There is no one specific way to watch the VODs and learning on the mistake. The most important and you if you will be doing that, you will understand how to do it in the future in the better way. After doing the VOD review or like after the moment you did a mistake, you need to come to some certain conclusion what you need to do better. So, basically after every VOD review, you need to have a list of the things you need to do better.

And later on the more and more you do that, you will understand the things that you think is incorrect or you think it's correct and you need to keep it for the future in your game. And only by that you will understand how to do the VOD review the best way for you and you will learn it by the process, not by just copying someone in the high level because we are doing it in a different way. We already have a big learning experience and we just short some things that I think the people at the start of the game, they need to do it from the start from the zero.

Topic number six. Simplify the game. You don't need to create some crazy setups, crazy traps to win the ranked games. You just need to do the default stuff on the very good level and only by doing it many many times, you will learn how to do it properly. So, for example, a lot of people are asking, "Yes, why you always doing this setup on the side from right?" in ranked game. Uh just because it's easy, right? And I know how to play around it.

The only thing here I need to consider against what composition I'm playing on. If I'm playing against Skye, if I'm playing against Raze who can break the traps, right? Yes, creating some interesting and hard stuff is good, but sometimes in ranked it doesn't work because people in enemy, you don't know what their goal. They don't really play for win. Some people has different goals, right? So, that's why just simplify.

And by simplifying, you will be practicing something over and over and you will get better at that. So, for example, the same this setup is the best example. I can play from here, I can play from here and I know and I played it many many many times and I know how to play around it. So, for example, I can have a setup with this camera. And they're buying big shot picture. Nothing on A again. Good for me. Yeah, missed it.

A lot of people don't start here. So, what can I do? I can just take this trap. So, I can basically put this trap, right? Uh put the setup, I put this camera and I just watch here and now I run back towards me. I'm not creating something crazy. I'm just playing default stuff. But if for example, if they will start breaking my camera, now I'm not going to put that camera anymore. I'll just start putting the trap here and I'll start putting the deep camera.

And you just playing around one setup and you just trying to understand the gaps of the enemies. And it's very simple. You don't need to create a crazy cages with the omen blinds. I think that's a little bit later. Topic number seven. Don't just copy from the pro players, understand why they are doing that. When you're watching games, there is things to learn but a lot of things there is anti-strat and preparation for the enemies or preparing for yourself.

So, this you need to consider. What I would suggest on the early stages, watch the way pro players playing ranked and try to copy the stuff from there, but don't copy one to one. Try to understand why he is doing it, why is it comfortable for him and try to implement it only in that way to your game. So, for example, with the Viper setup, the one that I'm doing, right? A lot of people saw the way I'm playing it. I'm not going to explain here, right?

Why I'm going to why in the way I'm playing it. But you know that I like to go in this tunnel, I like to pick here, I like to take top, I like to go on the left. And it's you just need to understand right now why am I doing that. Understand the reasoning, what situations I'm doing and what situation I'm trying to catch a timing. And only by understanding and trying, so here you need to do things. You need to understand, you need to try to understand and you need to try to implement it.

So, that's why it's very important to not just copy it and at the same time you need to practice it also. So, look at the games, try to understand what the the pro does, how he does it, why he does it, put only after this thought process into your game, practice it, try it, do the word review that what would what went wrong and only after that you'll have a move that actually makes sense and you're doing it not just because you copied someone, but because you have a deep thought process why it's supposed to be done in this specific manner.

Topic eight, pay attention into your economy because it will simplify you to play the ranked games. What I mean by that? It's very easy in our game to pay attention into economy. And by that you can easily tell do they have eco, do they have force buy, can they have an operator, right? This is the thing that you need to pay attention because of that you're going to change the way you play the game. If you know they're eco, you can you know that with the Phantom it's easier to kill them and you just going to farm them, right?

It's like it's very easy to just get the kills from the eco. If you play against operator, you know that's a little bit scary and dangerous to just do the jiggles like because the operator can come here, take on the timer and just kill you instantly. Why am I including it here? Because a lot of people don't really pay attention. They don't do it consistently. They do it one thing like once in three rounds and that's it.

So, that's why pay attention to economy, see against what you're playing. Is it eco, is it force buy, is it full buy, do can they have an operator? Because against the gun you play, you also a little bit changing the way you play the game. And here as we're going back into the topic, you can check how the pros is playing against the specific buy specific guns and understand why are they playing like that. But it's very important to pay attention to that topic and it will help you, especially when it's eco rounds, you can farm more ecos, you can get more confidence, you'll get more olds and it's just easier to play the game.

Learn how to use the ultimates and how to play against the ultimates. Ultimates in our game it's a amazing thing that is winning you the rounds. But since it exists and as I said it's a very easy tool, you just need to you know how to use it. If the enemy have it, you need to know how to play against it. You so you need to be smart. You cannot just like if you let's say you play against Brimstone on bind, you don't really want to play in lamps and you don't want to show yourself because if you will do for example by shooting the past in my video, right?

In my topic seven, if you just jiggle like this and the Brimstone comes, you don't even have time to run away from here. Viper's ultimate like let's say Lotus on C, you just go, you just put the Viper's ultimate Lotus on C. You know everyone with pistols, you just go, you just kill everyone. So, it's like it's very important to use the ultimates also in this game and pay attention to that because it exists in our game and a lot of people is winning rounds because of that.

So, you need to also use it in your ranked games to win the free rounds for you because the moment you have old, it's a lot of the times on most of the agents is a not less than I'm going to say free round, but easy opportunities to get the kills. Topic 10, don't autopilot and limit yourself a little bit. This is goes a little bit into our topic five where I spoke a bit about the word reviews and learning on the mistakes.

Without the limit testing, without the trying some crazy things and that's not about even the simplifying the stuff. I'm not about that, not about the crazy setups. I'm about like playing a bit more aggressive, taking a risks where it's not needed. Without these things, without these mistakes, you won't be able to learn. You won't be able to understand why the certain things sometimes being done. So, you don't need to autopilot what worked for you before.

Like try to understand why it worked, in which specific moment it worked, so you understand and you do it. So, basically the more you try, the more you try to learn on that mistakes, the deeper conclusions you get. And you understand the specific condition, specific moments why you don't want to do or you want to do some certain things. One enemy remaining. Topic 11. And I would say it's a even though it's might be some tricky topic, but it's very helpful in ranked games is use Outlaw.

Outlaw is a very annoying gun to deal with. And I'm pretty sure like in in my ranked games, if you use it a lot even on buy rounds, people is just more scared to pick you. Yeah, I understand it's sometimes hard to hit the double body shot, but uh the more you practice it, the more you use it, the more you getting used to that. And this gun is very, very scary. So, I would suggest you to try that gun in your ranked games in whatever rank you are, silver, gold, diamond, ascendant, right?

Try it and I'm pretty sure you will find the values for it. At the start it might be hard, but with the rest of the topics that you had on the back, you will learn how to use this gun and it will win you a lot of rounds. It will give you a lot of kills what that you wouldn't get with either with a Vandal or with Phantom. And sometimes people is still buying light armor still. So, it's also very good gun to punish people.

You just need to learn how to use this gun because it's a very, very powerful one and there is a games where I was playing for 10 rounds in ranked games with Outlaw and I didn't die and we were winning with a very, very big score. So, I would suggest to try this gun also. Extra topic and uh I didn't want to put it in the main topics because I still believe it's possible without a doubt is to find a good duo partner that will have the same goal, that will have the same ideas and you guys basically would like to achieve the same thing together.

And your flash one what that three, two, one One enemy remaining. Find you, find you. Spike down. It is such a beautiful flash. When I was starting, I was starting alone. Yeah, playing with duos funnier, it's better, it's less tilting sometimes because you are together, you are not alone, but you can achieve the same things alone. So, don't tunnel vision into that. Yes, it will help a little bit, but it's not 100% that it will help like fully because sometimes it's when the duo can't carry, there is sometimes that you have to carry the duo.

So, it's a lot depends what kind of duo you have. That's why the whole video was about how to improve on your own to become better and how to climb in ranked games a bit faster. And I'm pretty sure that you guys will be able to do that with all of these topics that I spoke about.
