Other creators might tell you to do that, but if your goal is to make money and especially like evergreen income, don't start with that, please. I've seen it

We started this on the first, it is now the 7th, and we just hit 2700 in recurring revenue. So, I am in Alex Hormozi's platinum thing on school. Pretty much it's for creators with over 100,000 followers are able to kind of like to launch a school following the proven formats that they they studied like the top creators, saw what was working, and then Alex and other people are teaching that directly to us. And so, I just kind of copied and pasted that.
I came up with an idea for a school, just launched it literally 7 days ago, and then I've been putting my own strategies into marketing it. And we've hit over $2700 in recurring revenue just in 7 days. So, I thought I would break down exactly how I did that. I'm going to show what I've been learning from inside that platinum program in case you can't get in there. Pretty much I wanted to just document this. I'm going to put it all into action.
I think this has the potential to be a 20 to $30,000 a month community within maybe two to six months, and I'm going to show you the math on that. So, yeah, let's let's just look into it right now. This is the platinum program with Alex Hormozi. You can see there's a thousand people in here. And if we go to ranking as of 7 days in, I am ranked number 18 out of a thousand plus people. Pretty much how this works is after 30 days, if you don't hit a thousand MRR, you get kicked out.
And then 5,000, 10,000, 20, and 30. So, my goal here is to just not get kicked out. Let's be honest. And technically I'm on track to do that. And this is a very low ticket. I've never launched a low ticket before. So, I'm pretty much just copying exactly what has worked from their classroom. I don't know if I'm allowed to show this. I'm sure it's fine. And I'm going to implement this. I'm going to see what works for me because I have a little bit of a different strategy because of my YouTube and socials and stuff.
And I'm just going to share everything with you guys. So, make sure you subscribe. Making a course is the thing that most people get stuck on. Something that I learned from that program was this guy who's one of the top earners on school right now. He makes like 300k a month or something. It's It's this dude right here, make your school. He just made something for like 20 bucks a month, got a couple people to join, got feedback, and made it better.
And so I was like, you know what? Let's just do this. I had this idea. It was literally empty when we launched it, and people joined, and they've been joining, and there's a couple things that really hacked the algorithm here. So, if you're thinking about starting a community, this was super duper helpful, and it's how we kind of are in the top 20 right now. But, that's mostly the marketing side. So many people focus on building the perfect product, and then nobody buys it, right?
You might be there where you like have all these ideas, you build all this stuff, that literally doesn't matter. Marketing matters. So, I'm not going to spend too much on like what's inside my community. I'll give you a real basic cuz it'll be context for later. But, pretty much is this idea of like we're all doing weekly challenges together. Improve our lives by 1% a week. We're doing a digital detox this week. We're doing 10,000 steps a day next week, and everybody's like holding each other accountable and stuff like that.
Selfishly, it's literally just something that I needed personally, and other people seem to be enjoying it as well. And again, last week, there was nothing. So, I pretty much went through. I didn't want this to be empty, so I did a little start here post. It's literally got one thing in in it right now. I just made all these like yesterday. It's got a digital reset where we came up with the idea, and then I just Loomed the reset.
Quick money wins. This is actually uh affiliate links uh in here. So, they're one, things that literally everybody should do with their money. Two, they're also affiliate links, so we'll see what the the revenue is. We have an unreleased YouTube video in here that's actually a really high-quality video that I just never launched on my channel cuz it didn't fit super well, and then uh more affiliate links. So, that's literally all I have in there right now.
The challenges and the live aspect and me interacting is the main thing. So, you don't have to have it figured out. Literally just launch, get feedback from your people, and adapt as needed. So, that's literally all that there is to launching a school from what I learned from the top people who've done it. They just start and then figure it out as they're going. And so, what I did was I made a story line out of this on social media that really helped with the marketing.
So, if you do short form, you do long form, whatever it is, long form just takes longer for it to get out there. But regardless, we go to short form, we go to Facebook. I started posting like, "Hey, I have this idea of making a challenge cuz I can't stick with my goals. So, I'm making a small group. Comment 1% if you want to join." Just something like that. Like, "Oh my goodness, guys. I can't believe 40 people joined within like 2 days.
This is unbelievable. I didn't think it I thought five people would join. If you want in, comment whatever." So, it started to build the storyline of like, "Here's a struggle that I'm having. Hey, a couple people joined. This is exciting. This is new. Hey, whatever." And this is all true stuff, right? I'm I'm being honest with it, but I'm also sharing. I'm not just like thinking about it. I'm If I literally think about something, I just instantly post it.
And then we also have different themes each week. So, like this post right here is like, "Digital minimalism challenge starts today. Comment 1% if you want in." 143 comments, you know, like half of those are me replying. And then we're just posting a lot. You guys are all Facebook. It's really broken right now, but I'm posting Facebook, YouTube, and email are going to be the three things that I'm going to show here. But even this one, last chance to join 7-day digital detox with me. 75 comments.
This one right here was just like I'm tired of consuming, whatever. Comment 1%. And so, you could see we've been getting a lot. This one has 380 comments. Digital challenge starting, whatever. One thing I didn't expect starting community has been crazy, whatever. So, this is kind of that that storyline that I was talking about. If we go back to like last week, I can't find Yeah, this one's like you just see like you can get so many comments.
And then we're just many chatting them a link and a little invite thing. I'm still testing stuff, so I'll like make templates for all this eventually. But we got this one. Got this one. Dude, like every post, crazy. Um and you can see a lot of our other posts are actually not doing well. Like, some of them don't do great. Some of them do, but Facebook very slept on right now. Regardless, so that is one thing. Making a storyline, making it public, and that is something that I've seen a couple people who had really successful launches do.
And that's something that I am trying to do. Just be very honest. Like, "Hey, there's almost nothing in there, but if you want to join, be a founding member. It's cool." So, that's one thing that I did. Second thing, I had a YouTube video coming out. Uh it was called how to change your life in a day. This is one I was working on anyways. And at the very end of this video, which was super high quality video by the way.
It's one of my favorite ones I've ever done. Not only did I cry in a barn, but I also like made a quick thing where I just like clipped into this video right here. And then I popped out and I just kind of started talking about like, "Hey, during this free time that I had, I made this thing." And I purposely put it at the very end of the video. So, it's just serious people cuz this is like still technically pre-launch.
We haven't done like a full launch yet. Most people don't know that this exists. And then in this video, I just had one link here, one link here to really try to drive engagement from that. So, before we get into some crazy mathematicals of stuff, I wanted to show you my conversion rate cuz I think this is very interesting. One thing that I did that really helped the conversion rate is I made X amount of spots, right?
We had a date. We We thought originally be July 12th or sooner that we'd raise the price from 20 to $27, but instead we I changed it to 200 members. I kind of made this up as we were going here. I changed it a few times to be honest. And so, now there's 23 spots left, 22 spots left for members. And that really helped the click-through rate. Helped the conversion rate a lot. So, if we do go over here, you can see where they came from. 50 of them came from Facebook, 96 from YouTube.
I also did YouTube community posts. I can show you those as well. And then I tried email a couple times. That's actually what drove a lot of the clicks was email. This right here is through email marketing. The email marketing has not converted at all for this for whatever reason. So, I need to re-evaluate that, but that has been absolutely terrible. But Facebook and YouTube, uh especially Facebook has been way better than expected.
And so, you can see conversion rates here. They're in this 3% range. They jumped up a lot. This was when that YouTube video came out. So, that one helped it. And then I also did a 7-day free trial here. I turned the free trial off after maybe 10 15 people had joined cuz it didn't raise the rate as much as I thought it would and then we're back down into this range here and then it's really bad today cuz I sent an email today and it's just not converting.
But either way, we're in that three's to four type of range for direct from YouTube and Facebook and if I make a whole video about this on YouTube, I think it'll convert a lot better. If I have it at the beginning of the video and not the end of a 17-minute video, I think it'll convert a lot better. But that's currently where we're at right now and you can see YouTube is by far the highest conversion, followed by Facebook and then all the other things are really bad.
But this is still a crazy conversion rate. Now, this is not including the free trial, so we're actually over this, but regardless, what it really comes down to here and I'll show you the leaderboards as well. So, what it really comes down to here is it's traffic, right? You need traffic. You need to promote your thing and that's one thing that I'm very good at. With YouTube, with uh socials, we have very similar things.
We just like run the five-hour YouTuber stuff on everything. We kind of treat it the same way and so that's why this Facebook's worked really well. This is why YouTube's worked very well. It's like we're using a lot of proven formats on that. So, like having a great school community doesn't matter if nobody knows about it, right? And so I thought it'd be interesting to look at the last three months of data from our DubCo.
So, this is pretty much how many clicks we've gotten in the last three months. We drive a lot of traffic just because of the way my funnels are set up and so the top two here are free lead magnets, 50 minimalist tips ebook. So, overall, we've driven what is that? 30 46,000 clicks just on those two lead magnets in the past uh three months. So, realistically, we could probably get 10,000 clicks a month towards this uh would be an absolute baseline.
I would think probably closer to 20,000 clicks a month. And this is at the raising to 27 price point, we're going to get a lower conversion rate. So, I'm going to go with the conservative three to three and a half percent and that would probably get us roughly, if we get 10,000 Facebook visitors a month, roughly 300 new members a month, all organic, which is $8,000 a month in new MRR, simply from Facebook without YouTube.
I have 800k on YouTube. And so, obviously, could be better than that, but I'm going to say baseline, probably in there somewhere. And so, that means if we just run Facebook onto this, it would be a six-figure business, which is really, really cool. That also means that in 3 months, we could probably get close to 8,000 members and $27,000 MRR. Again, this is just the math on this. I'm going to document it. If it totally fails, that's what's going to happen, but this is what the math is saying right now, just based on math.
And you know, 6 months, we could be at 50k a month. The conversions are going to drop at some point. It's got to happen. But, the other thing we haven't accounted for is that I also have YouTube that I could easily drive 10k visitors a month with that. We have email, which I could drive more than three, but that is just not working at all. And Google search, I've been actually getting a decent amount with search and just search inside of school as well.
Not like a ton, but like some of it have actually like two sign-ups have come from that. So, how many visitors was that? Yeah, Google school network. So, actually, that's not terrible. Regardless. So, if we drive 25,000 visitors per month, which in the last month, we have driven 54,000 clicks. So, if we drive half of our clicks, we move them from lead magnets to this, and we have that 3 and 1/2% conversion rate, we might get 875 members per month and drive $23,000 in new MRR every single month, which means in 6 months, we could be looking at 120,000 MRR.
That literally seems like a fake number. Um, this all seems fake. So, I'm going to test it. This is simply driven off of the data, though. The amount of clicks that we have times our conversion rate. Let's say we drive 20,000 clicks a month, and we have a 2 and 1/2% conversion rate at 27, or 2% conversion rate at 27, what would that be in 6 months? So, even if we have a 5% turn, 2% conversion rate, we could still be driving 400 new people a month, 10k.
So, that means in 6 months we're still at a 50K a month business. Yo, we just got somebody signed up. Bam, let's go. That's so fun. Anyways, and if we can get that conversion rate even up half a percent, which this is like we're at 4% right now average. So, even if it drops in half, we're still looking at really good numbers. And so, I'm excited to see where this goes. We got to make the community really good so this is sticky and people enjoy it and it actually impacts their lives and that type of stuff, but it's already helped me this week, literally.
Everybody's like screenshotting, their screen time is down and stuff. So, having a group and accountability and like I even have a thing where I was like, here's 100 bucks if I don't use my journal every day, I'm going to give people $100. We've given some journals away already and we're going to be just like seeing how I can reinvest by like just giving money back to the community or stuff, cool things, cameras, I don't know.
So, I'm going to be giving stuff back in there, but this has nothing to do with how to grow on YouTube. All of these other things that you might see like the Maker School or whatever, a lot of them are like how to make money online. This is a not how to make money online one. So, I thought that was interesting. It's different. It's not like everybody else. If you want to see what ends up happening, I'll probably update maybe at the end of the month, maybe before that, we'll see.
And then also, we'll do maybe a 3-month update or something like that. Ultimately, it's been a ton of work. I've hyper obsessed about this and I think it's getting a lot better considering it's been up for 7 days and literally created it. And we'll see at what point it stalls out, but I'm just looking at the math right now. The math be crazy, so. That's what I got.
