Hello everyone. The Nats Mindset Project. I am Nats, or as some of you say, No Access to Site. Today, I'm going to be teaching you everything I know about holding site. So, grab a drink and start taking notes because it's going to be a lot of useful information for you today, no matter what rank you are. First thing I want to speak about is the definitions between the anchor and rotator, so later on into the video it will be easier for you guys to understand.

So, the anchor, he has to provide the information to the team as early as possible. And the second job is to delay the enemies as much as possible. It's either by killing them or it's either with the mollies or with some specific setup, right? And you just need to be doing that consistently. So, that's basically what's the anchor doing. A rotator is the guy who is rotating between the A and B and who helps on mid also and who is most of the times involved in flooding.

Flooding is helping your anchor when he is holding the site with any ability you have. And here we have few decisions. Okay, if it's B with flooding towards B and we're helping our person. Okay, someone called let's fight middle, we're grouping up and we're fighting it. That's basically the rotator and anchor job for you to all understand when I'm going to be using this definitions later into the video. First tip I want to speak about is to be patient and trust the process because being a good anchor is going to take a while.

It's going to take not a week, not a month, it might going to take a year. It also depends a lot the way the game is evolving with kind of updates into happening into the game. So, it's going to take time. Don't expect after watching one video to instantly be a best anchor possible. You will need to practice, you'll need to get used to the things. That's why just be patient. Just take your time. Don't be very angry if something doesn't work.

Try to understand the reasons why something is not working and it will help you later. Tip two, central anchor. I'm mostly going to be showing on split, so it's easier for all of you to understand. You have, as I said before, two jobs. You need to either provide the early information or you have to delay as much as possible. As a sentinel, any sentinel you play, you have a lot of delay potential, so you can block and delay the enemies.

But sometimes, on some certain sentinels, it's pretty hard to get the information. It's either you need to stay here and get the jig and get the early information. If you don't want to do that, you still can just provide a delayed information because it's still fine on sentinel because you have enough blocking power. Let's say we just have a setup like this. I don't know, we have a Viper storms with the wall. So, no matter what, we will delay enough for our rotations to come and our rotator help us.

As a sentinel, just keep that in mind. You just need to either provide early information. For example, as a Cypher I can't speak about it. You can just put this camera and we instantly over rotating too, see? Or we just win time and play properly. Tip three, duelist anchor. Duelist anchor is most of the times is when you want to secure the line for your team so they can over rotate because duelist doesn't have enough blocking power.

Basically, as a duelist, we just want to, for example, come B main or want to secure this line and we want our B players now to over rotate. And we'll have the line towards B. If they come, we just either going to get a pick or we're just going to fall back. And the same as on A. We're getting the early information for our team. The moment they come to us, we're just going to fall back side. We already win enough time by killing one person or showing ourself here.

Yes, they will still run, but our rotator will try to win us as much time as possible. So, that's the main job as a duelist as a anchor. Tip four, initiator anchor. Yes, you can be anchor as an initiator. So, what's the job of the Skye? As a Skye, we can provide very good information for our team. And when they going to come to us, we still have opportunities to block because we have a sky flashes when they come into us.

You still can try to block them. The same for example, if we go to the let's say we'll play Breach. You stun, it won't give you enough time for your then person to rotate. So basically as an initiator you also can play as a anchor, but you need to understand when you need to do it and you need to have abilities to do because if you for example, if you play Fade, most likely you won't be able to block them, right? So you need to think what abilities do you have to do that.

Tip five, controller anchor. Controller anchor on split is most of the times towards B to block the choke towards the B, right? You'll create extra space for yourself with a smoke. And the enemies will need to go free. If you don't have a smoke, you just go back. And now you are as Breach, you are very strong towards B because the moment they want to come, you just throw all my blind and you win enough time for your team to come and just help you with the rotation with the clock.

All of the agents is basically the same thing, you just doing it in a different way. Some agents creates you opportunity to fight in a different ways. And on all my manners I said, since you have smokes you can either create something weird on your side where the enemies will need to use abilities to go through or you can help your team and you'll need to play a bit more fast. Write down in the comments with what you struggling while you holding site and I'll try to reply on it.

Tip six, understand what comp you playing against because it's very important to understand what you playing against. For example, let's say I'm playing either against Jet comp or a race comp. I want to first of all understand is he throwing it? If he is, okay, I'm not putting these traps. I'll just put more this kind of traps and I'll just play more passive setup where I'll be still I will still apply some pressure, right?

Either with my camera, either with something. So, they think I still have a build this here so he throws his nade. If he's not throwing his nade there and I never saw it, I can just I just don't care. I'll just put my trap anyway here and I'll just play with it. Now, if I'm playing against jet comp, now I don't really care what's happening. I can just put these traps, even these two traps, because they have nothing to break it with.

And I can just let this jet try to dash through it and good luck in his push throwing. So, that's why pay attention what you're playing against and it's like no matter what sentinel you're playing against, you need to take that into consideration. By Skilljoy, Cypher, Beto, if you have something that they can break, you need to understand what they're playing and you need to adjust your abilities into them. Tip seven, ask for a support from your teammates.

For example, if you're playing towards A and you're struggling, they always counter you and they always destroy you. It happens from time to time because sometimes it's hard to hold the site. Now, let's say you're playing with a Skye. You can ask your Skye, Skye, the moment they're going to come on A, can you throw a flash here? So, now you know, for example, let's have a cage here, let's have a cage here, let's have a I don't know, let's try to trap here so I know that they're not going to push me.

I'm just popping cages, she throws a flash and there is two things going to happen. Either they use so much abilities to me, but I just stay here and I stand, right? But, the Skye flash anyway wants so much time that the stand will disappear. So, I'll have time to play or they didn't use any ability here and I'll just rush, I'll kill the person and I'll fall back. So, basically, I played around my setup, but I asked one extra ability that I don't have in my pocket and I asked for the teammate to do it.

Yes, sometimes I run people don't do that and don't listen. But still, if you play with a duo or you have a teammate who can help you, always try to adjust and ask for the help from your uh rotators to simplify your game. Tip eight, setups. As I was speaking many times on my past videos, you don't need to have a crazy setup. First of all, as I spoke, you need to understand what comp you're playing against. So, you're not going to have 100 setups on one the site on one map.

Maybe, for example, this setup is going to work against uh Race, as I spoke, right? But it's just going to work in the some certain moment where Race not throwing his Race nade. Or, for example, you put this setup and you heard that Race started on mid, your teammate said they used the Race nade. You know, okay, your setup is good. Always try to work with the information that the team provides you, that you're getting, and it will be easier for you to play, and you don't need to have a crazy setup.

You just need to play around them, you need to work around them, you need to get used to them. So, the more you play, the more you understand what you can exactly do here, and you'll be feeling more natural on your side, next to your setup. Just want to clarify one thing. All of the tips I'm speaking about in this video, you can use them on any map on any site. I'm only speaking specifically on Split in this map to give you understanding how I see these certain things and how I'm trying to use them.

So, you can literally implement them from Split on any other map. Some certain things will change, but it's going to be the same. And here, I'm specifically speaking about the sentinels, not other roles, even though I spoke about them in the video. Even if I'm speaking about sentinels, you can use this knowledge to play on other roles. Tip nine, be patient as an anchor. And it's not about the process right now. Overall, if you're just moving to anchor, sometimes it happens that, let's say, you're using this camera.

Five rounds they're not coming to you, Seven rounds they're all coming to you. 10 rounds they're all coming to you. And you're like, "Ah, I'm bored." This even happens to me, right? But you need to be patient because this time they might going to rush on you. So, you cannot let the emotions of let that affect you. Yes, if you have a good reason for you to not start on your side or do something aggressive, it's fine, but you need to be patient as a anchor.

You cannot just let like, "Okay, I have a full setup, but they didn't come to me. Let me just wide swing." You wide swing, you died, and that's it. No, that's not how it works on anchor. The more you're alive, the more it's annoying for the enemies. They still they know that you're still alive, and they need to deal against you somehow. So, as I be patient, keep that in mind, and everything will be fine. Tip 10, don't die instantly as anchor.

Very obvious thing, and I'm speaking here about the sentinel as anchor. The more you're staying alive, the more it's annoying for the enemies to play around the nuts. And I'm speaking not to do this thing. If you have a person next to you, for example, a duelist, let the duelist do this first because even if duelist die, you you trade him. You still have your full setup to play around. And the same thing is on site. Let's say they always use the omen blind in the race night here.

And you didn't win time for your team. Your job is to provide information and to win time for the team to come and rotate and help you. Keep that in mind and don't die instantly as anchor. Tip 11, remember what enemy does. And I spoke in this video already many times, but it's super important thing to keep in mind. You need to remember what enemy is doing for your abilities to find the value. And it's not just abilities to break the traps.

You need to remember where the jet is dashing because maybe the jet is dashing always in the same place. For example, let's here, right? If the jet is dashing here, let's just put this kind of trap, so he will dash through the trap, and he cannot break the trap in that case. You need to keep in mind always what is the enemies is doing to find even more value for your abilities. How they break, how they path, what they do.

It's hard to keep everything in mind and catch it up. By by experience, by simplifying your game, by having like a simple setups, it will be easier to start catching these kind of moments. Tip 12, retake. Sometimes against some certain comps or some certain abilities, you do need to be playing retake and your team needs to understand that. You still need to have a setup that will either help you to get a kill or will help you to delay enough so your team can come and they will retake together.

There is a few things, as I said. First of all, you can have a setup that will still help you to get a kill, right? Or you just have a weird setup somewhere deep on the side. Even if you put this weird weird things, they will still think that you're somewhere here and they'll spend time searching for you. And as a rotator, you also need to understand if your anchor is playing retake because sometimes it's hard for him to stay on site.

As a rotator, you need to understand that because if your central is playing retake, you don't need to now run here with a sky flash. Bye as a rotator and as a anchor, keep that in mind. And uh try to understand when you need to fall into retake and when you need to hold the site. Tip 13, saving. Many times it happens that you're staying towards A and let's say they execute on B and they killed all of your teammates and you're 5v2 or 4v2.

You don't need to always go and try to win the retake 4v2. You especially if you would say you have a thousand money. You don't need to go. Let's just save. Let's just make sure that you have money for next round. You have a gun so you have opportunity for you to win the round. I see most of the times that the I let's say I lost the A on A and my B anchor is just running into the scenario that's almost impossible to win.

Yes, once in 20 times you will win it. If we really watch at these numbers, once in 20 times is not something that you would like to do because 19 times in the other round with the gun, you will be able to do more than this one time going into the retake and randomly winning it. Keep in mind about saving. And it's also good for economy nowadays. Tip 14, information gathering. There is two ways to doing it. One way is doing it by your own, second is gathering it from your team.

First is as I was speaking about with the Cypher camera, you just put the Cypher camera, you get early information. As a different sentinels, it will be harder or different ways to do. With the Vetor, you just can't throw a trap here or a Killjoy alarm bot or a vicewall, but it's still you see it's not the greatest, right? With the Cypher, you see literally this. With the vicewall, they can just come here on shift, they can just run and that's it.

Second thing as I said is to gather information from your team. Let's say you playing with this setup, waiting, waiting and you see three people here, two people here. What you can do now? You can just take your trap, you can just put your trap here. You know that you have an amazing information tool right now and you can just The same as on Killjoy. Let's say you didn't put your alarm bot, you have just a turret. Let's say you decided to save your alarm bot.

Yes, with the Killjoy, it's not going to allow you to over-rotate because you have a range, but still you'll be able to stay on the edge of the range. Remember these two things. Either you gather information or you take information from your team because that's another tool that you need to use as a sentinel in your advantage. Tip 15, mini map. I spoke many times about that tool in my other videos. You need to use information as a tool in two ways again.

First, as I spoke last time, to get the information what's happening on other part of the map. And second, when you hold sites. How to use it when you hold sites. Let's say you using this setup and they come to you. And your team is flooding and let's say your Skye is like uh Let's say your Skye is a drone. He flash, he picks. So, what you can do you can just kill this guy or this guy instantly. Your Skye might want to die, but you use the Skye as information tool in that point to have opportunity, have a timing to play around.
